The staff gave a warm welcome, the interior design was very high-end and the place is just full of quality. I had a great night's sleep, the quality of both dinner and breakfast were delicious. Prices at the bar were very reasonable. Top class stay.

The family provided us with a warm welcome, including our dog, and everything was very homely. The Croft is beautifully decorated, breakfast was a delight, and the good hot shower was appreciated after a day hill walking.

Beautiful scenery, quiet location.
Beautiful scenery, quiet location. The falls of Dochart are stunning. Well worth a visit to see them. There is also a golf course in Killin with stunning views of the surrounding area. Tucked away in the woods of Killin across from the cemetery you will find the ruins of Finlarig Castle which dates back to 11th century, also well worth a visit.

We stay here often, as its dog friendly and have always found it a nice place to stay, with friendly staff. Any problems, you only need to ask. Meals are good and fairly priced, as are the prices at the bar. Looking forward to our next stay.

We ate dinner at The Luib Hotel on our arrival and it was excellent. We visited several other hotels and cafes and they were all good establishments. The staff at The Luid are always ready to answer any questions we had regarding places to visit. They are very helpful and the atmosphere they create in the lounge is unbeatable.

If your only issue is wi- fi then you don't have much of an issue. This Hotel caters for most clientele. The staff may I say are excellent. So many spaces to chill out both in the Hotel and surrounding area. Just a wonderful place to stay.
Loved the house, all well kept, clean and tasteful, good heating system and showers, great that there is dishwasher tablets and provided. Good location for exploring the area, really felt in the heart of Scotland. Booked because it was dog friendly so a big bonus. Good communication with the owner. House 1 mile walk from the falls of Dochart, and the village of Killin has everything you need for a short stay. Liked there was coffee, tea, milk and sugar, salt and pepper, even though we brought our own as wasn’t sure if there was any.
We have loved to stay in the Luib hotel!!
Warm and friendly family owners, with nice xat to learn more about the Scottish culture. The room was perfect for 4 people with a spacious bathroom. You can have dinner in the same hotel, which we recommend as it is homemade and very good.
Traditional Scottish breakfast, which we liked it very much.
The views are great and the area is calm and peaceful.
The hotel has a nice and spacious parking, very convenient.
I highly reccommed this hotel.
Perfect location in town. Lovely building with bags of atmosphere. Open fire in the restaurant and an unexpectedly good menu. Previous trips to Scotland have been disappointing with regard to food. Very impressed with the food here. We had Tempura Cauliflower and Haggis balls to start. All delicious and Venison casserole for our main course. The sticky toffee pudding was the best we have ever eaten. Served with a good quality ice cream.
The coffee shop attached to the hotel was also good.
Location in Killin was excellent, pubs, restaurants and shops very close by, the building is older and it is furnished and decorated in a very local country house style which works very well.
The owners are very friendly and full of local knowledge for walks and local points of interest.
The breakfasts were stunning, all locally sourced produce and the owner (sorry I forgot your name , but remembered that you were Swiss!!)
Makes all her own breads, jams and yogurt, amazing 🤩
The staff had arranged for flowers, chocolates and Prosecco to be there in our room on arrival for our Ruby Wedding anniversary there was even a card from the staff! All the staff were very friendly, polite and helpful throughout our whole stay. The location was amazing, lovely hotel with lots of character and delicious food, we cannot praise the Killin Hotel and its staff enough for our wonderful stay.
The uniqueness of the property. It appears the owners are trying to keep the hotel as original as possible and the are succeeding. Our room was very comfortable with great bath towels & we slept very well. Breakfast was delicious with some of the best coffee & cappuccino experienced on our 2 week holiday. Should my travels again take me to Killin area, Suie Hunting Lodge will be my first choice.
Tastefully decorated, calming, peaceful (despite being beside the main road!), beautiful views from the dining room and Room 7. Great to chat to the owners, and best scrambled egg and tomato breakfast I’ve had in any kind of hotel or guest house. No wifi and very poor mobile reception was….. amazing! I knew it would be like this in advance and it added to the feeling of calm.
A nice place to stay in a little laid back village that is busy during the day due to the river and the old bridge. Rooms are small and as expected in a historic building. The food in the pub/restaurant was excellent at night as well as for breakfast. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Can be a bit of noise from the pub it does not go on too late.
The location was great, loads to do compared to some lodges we have stayed at and the dog walk was great. The walk to Killin was also great. The walk up to the lawyers dam was also a good walk from the carpark for Ben lawers.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
The hotel was a pleasant surprise! The owners were lovely and full of good ideas for things to do. She even had written up a booklet on the towns history and stops of interest. And the breakfast was the best ever—home made scones, preserves and hot items—yummy!
Such a lovely big house in the centre of Killin and the reception could not have been warmer! I felt we were really looked after and catered for. The evening meal and breakfast were lush and catered well for dietary requirements. Loved it!
Loved the house very clean and comfortable, everything that wee need, and pet friendly loved the location and friendly people. Scenery fantastic lots of walks around Killin. We will go back loved it very relaxed stay.
Location was perfect views were lovely..enjoyed log burner..not too far out of Killin for going out for meals..bar/restaurant on site which was nice although bit expensive..Recommend Killin Hotel.
