The b&b was fantastic! It was not just a room; it was almost a whole apartment with everything we needed (including a separate dressing room, kitchen appliances, a bathroom with rain shower, usb plugs)! The location is great; the view from there is nice and peaceful, and the garden is just beautiful! The warm welcome from the very nice hosts and the decoration details (books, funny wall decor, Scottish decor, a box on the bed with anything we could need for a shower and a good sleep) made us feel at home in Scotland! A small fridge with orange juice and milk was offered, as well as a big variety of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and cookies/sweets.. just for us! The breakfast was brought to us in the apartment in the morning in a cute box, and it included all possible things one can find in a continental buffet (toast bread, butter croissants, chocolate croissants, fruit salad, butter, honey, jams, cheese, ham..)! We thank you so much for this experience! We will come back every time we visit Scotland :)

The best place I stayed in Scotland. Historic countryside house near the Cairngorns with charm and personality and a beautiful garden. Incredible story of the family who owned the place, in particular Lady MacRoberts and her connection to the RAF, which guests can see and feel in the main house. Excellent dinner and breakfast in the Conservatorium (I didn't try the Library dinner, but I guess it is a remarkable experience). Lovely bar, very professional and friendly staff.

I loved the style, the location, the breakfast that had loads of non-dairy options, the restaurant that offered simple dishes like soup of the day, the food options, the drinks options, the staff, the owners that were lovely, and above all the fact that it’s right by a forest with beautiful walks.

Tucked away in a lovely quiet wee village in the beautiful Scottish highlands. An easy drive from Aberdeen and only twenty minutes away from Balmoral Castle. My single room was a delight in all respects and the breakfast provided was the best provided during my tour of Scotland.

Could not recommend this place highly enough.

Could not recommend this place highly enough. David and Sophie were absolutely amazing from start to finish and made us feel so welcome and so at home. The room we stayed in (the Willows) was stunning and beautifully refurbished with unique Victorian shower. The restaurant was stunning and food absolutely incredible. The lounge and whisky snug for drinks both before & after dinner were both amazing, and complete such a perfect venue with all you need under 1 roof. Breakfast the next day absolutely delicious too. Will definitely be back again to check out the terrace outside. Perfect, these guys have got the balance absolutely spot on between 5-star luxury yet not pretentious.
