After one day it felt like coming home. Mike is a great host, always there for a little chat. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent, dinner was even better. Smallish menu but really, I could have the Mac n cheese or the meatballs every day. Very generous portions. Warm and comfortable atmosphere. (thanks again for the banana "cake", Mike!) The beds were very comfortable, my room had a shower, my aunt/mum shared a room with a tub. Everything was clean with everything you need. Beautiful and peaceful location with easy access to the beach. A beer garden to enjoy the sunny weather we had. 10 minutes by car to the A9 and the next little town with everything you need for your daytrips. Also a small supermarket near by. Enough parking space in front of the house.

The room was as expected. A great four poster bed with a large bath which had power jets. Don't know how good the wifi was as we used our own dongle/mi-fi. Lovely clean spacious room with coffee and tea made available. Hot water within the bathroom was always of a good temperature (unlike many other hotels we've used in the past) . A cooked scottish breakfast was included and was cooked to order (great haggis). Also the option of having a cold buffet breakfast with pastries etc. The staff were great, welcoming and always with a smile. Thanks to everyone who made our short stay so perfect.... had it not been for a prior engagement we would have stayed a third night.

Well appointed spacious room fitted out in period room. Modern well equipped bathroom. Excellent friendly checkin. Restaurant not open in night but they offered chauffeur driven Range Rover car down and back to castles sister hotel. Breakfast was lovely. Very comfortable bed.

The hostess, Kim, was very kind and welcoming. Straight away she made us feel good. The room was spacious, clean and seemed recently renovated. The bed was very comfortable, the room was warm and the shower/bathroom was clean and had everything you could possibly need.

Kildary is a beautiful area of the highlands.

Kildary is a beautiful area of the highlands. The views are stunning. It’s right off the NC 500 which is perfect for traveling and visiting other locations around the area. For simple but delicious dining The Shandwick Inn, Dalmore Farm, The Storehouse and Culbokie Inn were go to favorites. The entire area has beautiful views but you definitely want to take the time to visit Skye and Achmelvich bay. Rogie Falls is a must see. The Celtic trail is also very interesting to see. There just so much to do. Take it all in!

Beautiful cottage with all the amenities.

Beautiful cottage with all the amenities. Lovely grounds with so many extras at no charge including bicycles, archery, fishing and free drinks in the walled garden summerhouse. Excellent WiFi but terrible tv reception only drawback. Great base to visit places like Tain, Dornoch and even John O Groats. Really good pub only half a mile away for good food and refreshments also the local golf clubs do good food at reasonable prices.
