Our stay at Craik Na Dav B&B in Invermoriston was unforgettable. Lindsey and Manda were so welcoming, and the animals around the house – the dogs, birds, and even a legendary deer – added so much charm. One highlight was the porridge. I was not too fond of porridge before this visit, but theirs was absolutely to die for – creamy, perfectly cooked, and so flavorful. They generously shared tips on making it the best, but to truly experience it, you have to visit them yourself. ;) The facilities were excellent, and the thoughtful touches, like a whiskey dram for my partner’s sore throat, made us feel genuinely cared for. Lindsey and Manda also gave invaluable advice for our hike to Fort Augustus along the high route of the Great Glen Way. A heartwarming stay we’ll always remember!"

I loved the wee welcome treats and how thoughtful they were as I saw bowls and such for dogs even. The place was super clean and sooo cozy. We really enjoyed our stay there and I liked hearing the water falls from the outside :) I can only recommend and I hope I can come back there someday again! Thank you for the amazing experience!

We really really enjoyed this stay. There was only one other couple staying in the accommodation so it was really quiet which was perfect (and the other couple were lovely). The room had everything we needed (except shampoo/conditioner - I used the hand wash instead which could have been risky but it actually did a fine and glossy job!). We utilised the kitchen/common room facilities and everything was there that we were expecting. We knew there were no cooking facilities so we'd packed up a pre-prepared picnic dinner; being able to use the plates, crockery and washing up facilities was therefore great. The breakfast was delicious - a great continental served in the café with lovely croissants. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff we met were absolutely lovely and we had a really beautiful stay. We also did the oak, juniper and heather routes around the centre before coming back for a delicious chai and mocha the afternoon we left.

A lovely village with a small shop where you could buy food and drink, a hotel offering meals and a great cafe. It's also next to lots of trails so you don't have to get in your car to go hiking. And a beautiful river runs through it.

It is a cute little village tucked away from the hustle and...

It is a cute little village tucked away from the hustle and bustle from the more touristy areas in the Loch Ness area. Waterfalls and the Loch are easy walks, and it’s a short drive to Urquhart Castle and other sites. There are not a lot of places to dine, so the Glen Mariston is a good choice. Reservations will be needed.

Invermoriston doesn't have anything in it, particularly, other than a nice coffee shop and one really, really good pub/restaurant (the only game in town, but it is luckily a good one). Is it really a "town," per se? Hard to tell. Sort of just a crossroads along driving/hiking routes. But it's very pretty!

From the get-go Hayley provides such a warm, inviting space. The rooms are very bright, tidy, cozy with lovely showers and a mini fridge to store food. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. You have quite a variety to choose from and the portions are just what you’re needing before a long day of hiking, cycling, exploring etc. When we learned at the end that Hayley runs the whole operation essentially all on her own we couldn’t believe it. I 10/10 recommend Darroch View to anyone travelling through Invermoriston.

Absolutely great, would go back to Scotland just to spend more time there! Great location along the lake, friendly staff, fantastic common area, spacious kitchen. Honestly can't recomment it enough, as far as accomodation goes it was the absolute highlight of our trip.
