Great location with beautiful views. Very comfortable and well appointed room. The food was excellent. The bar and restaurant are relaxed places, excellent for recovering in after a day of activity! The staff are great fun, hard working and efficient! It’s quite expensive but worth every penny. Highly recommended!

Do yourself a favour and book this place! We met Jo when we arrived, who was very kind, and when we went inside the Hut I was speechless. The photos look amazing but it's even better in person, when you see the homemade sourdough bread and granola that they leave for you (that was probably the best part, it made me so happy and it was delicious!). Great appliances too (Kitchen Aid and Smeg!). Super cosy inside, even when cold outside. Beautiful, beautiful decor! This is how you host people. I have high standards and I have to say they were met. As a guest you feel taken care of and like everything has been thought of for your comfort. I loved this place and I'll probably think about it very often!!

At Ardmore House, Jo is an absolute natural in making you feel at home immediately, with her warm hospitality and great sense of humour. Bed- and bathroom were comfortable, spacious and clean. Jo's breakfasts (great variety, the salmon being my favourite) were a delightful start of the day and were beautifully presented in the guest room, that overlooks the garden and chickens, where Trevor's artful natural fence prevents the deer from nibbling away at fruits and flowers. We had three wonderful days, enjoyed beautiful Achmelvich Bay and rest of the peninsula, and hope to come back one day!

It was very secluded with a beautiful view of the ocean, but still near the town of Lochinver. It was clean and very cozy! Fully equiped kitchen and even some TV streaming services available. We will definitely come back!

The room was exceptional with the most comfortable bed we have slept on during our tour of the North West and the best armchairs! Our hosts were extremely helpful and knowledge and the area is stunning. I would recommend this place to anyone.
