My room was huge, well appointed and faced the river tweed and over the front entrance of the hotel. Breakfast buffet was nicely laid out and the breakfast room was lovely. This is an old historic hotel with the ruins of Dryburgh Abby over the rock wall on the boundary of the hotel. We had drinks before dinner in a comfortable sitting area outside the dining room where people were reading the newspaper and playing games.

Our group of 5 adults had the pleasure of staying one night in this charming caravan and it exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how spotlessly clean everything was—the entire space felt fresh and well-maintained. It was the perfect setup for our short getaway, offering just the right amount of comfort without feeling cramped. What really made the experience stand out were the thoughtful touches we didn't anticipate. The hosts had stocked the kitchen with fresh milk, bread, and even a coffee machine ready to go, which was a lifesaver for our early morning start. We also found tea bags, sugar, and some basic condiments, making it easy to whip up a quick breakfast without needing to run to the store. The bedding was comfortable and the bathroom was equally pristine, with plenty of hot water. Overall, this caravan provided fantastic value for our stay. Very comfortable stay. The facilities within the pod exceeded our expectations - it was warm and cosy despite the storm raging outside. Nice touch to have milk and bottled water in the fridge and the biscuits were appreciated, too.
