The location was great right in the middle of Grassington , the staff were amazing special mention to Maisy who went out of her way to keep our fussy eating grandson happy , also the lady didn't get her name who served our breakfast was so friendly and helpful, lovely open coal fire great this time of year , we had a meal at night and the food was really good , breakfast was also very good , we were in room 14 which is a family room which is 3rd floor and bottom of corridor which had its bonus of being really quite which also has very comfortable beds , the shower was large and had good pressure and good heat controls and really nice soft towels ,Would I stop here again no brainer a definite yes

Breathtaking scenery.

Breathtaking scenery. It’s like stepping back into a simpler time, the town itself is so quaint and friendly but the countryside walks are to die for. It’s like a walking through a real live painting! Highly recommend a visit and doing some walks.

We visited for the 1940's weekend in September.

We visited for the 1940's weekend in September. The huge amount of effort invested by the events volunteers is greatly appreciated. This year it was made harder for them by the inclement weather on day one. However, this did not dampen the visitors enthusiasm and by day two the sun was shining. Can highly recommend the hospitality - especially the tapas bar and pop up coffee shop in the church rooms. Book early for next year - you won't be disappointed :)

Grassington is a lovely village in a great location within...

Grassington is a lovely village in a great location within the dales. Lots of nice walks from there, especially along the river. It has plenty of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants to choose from. A fabulous place for breakfast, the old school room (8 mins in car).

Regrettably I did not have enough time to fully enjoy...

Regrettably I did not have enough time to fully enjoy Grassington and the surrounding area this time as I did on my first visit. However when I visit again I will give myself more time to enjoy what I consider to be a dule and my place to go.

Grassington is a beautiful setting in the Yorkshire dales.

Grassington is a beautiful setting in the Yorkshire dales. The village square is idyllic, with various places to eat and drink. Just around the corner is the visitors centre, which leads to the River Wharfe, and Linton Falls. The river has walking routes in both directions, one which goes to Burnsall, a very scenic village. Grassington is good spring board, to explore the Yorkshire dales.

What a lovely cottage, situated in the middle of Grassington with a well kept garden.. Comfortable beds, nice sitting area with cozy lights, nice kitchen area to eat. Enough places in Grassington to drink a cup of coffee or tea with cakes. A wonderful place to start a walk through the Yorkshire Dales. A little walk to the parking area for which a card is profited. Unloading/loading is no issue in front of the door.

Lovely location (only a couple of minutes from the nearby pubs, restaurants and shops)! Comfortable rooms and great that there was a parking space included. The staff really went out of their way to make it a special stay for us as it was for my mom’s birthday – we all had an amazing trip and we’ll definitely be staying here again when we visit the Yorkshire Dales. Thank you!

Everything about our stay was excellent. The way we where greeted, the room the food and the staff all made our stay very memorable. First time in Grassington together with the hotel , and it wont be our last . Sue in particular, even though she was very busy, was a great host and made us feel welcome.
