We adored Alan! He was very thoughtful, kind and accommodating. The accommodations were thoughtfully decorated with beautiful wool carpeting in beautiful colors that went with the beautiful drapery. There was attention to details in every corner. Beautiful big modern bathroom with great soaking tub and full sized great towels. The room was very clean with an extremely comfortable bed. Gorgeous Welch woven colorful blanket everywhere. Penrhiw farms felt like a big hug of love, and attention to detail everywhere from the dishes to the pottery serving pieces. Very peaceful and great views from the window. Now to one of the best parts….the food! The breakfast was excellent and Georgie took very good care of us. Alan created the best dinners with love, creativity and he definitely knows his way around the kitchen. He perfected dessert! He was an excellent chef and baker a combination you don’t get often together. The dairy product were to die for since they came from the farms own organic dairy cows. We are walking the Wales coastal path and had stayed in 15 other place prior and Penrhiw Farms was the best and our Favorite. The food was the best we had in our 2 weeks in Wales. We would say staying at Penrhiw Farms is a must and definitely have dinner there! Thank you Alan, we will hold the memories of Penrhiw Farms in our thoughts of our trip to Wales.

What a lovely place! We booked it just before Christmas as we were taking the ferry from Fishguard. The apartment is just perfect - cozy and clean. We really enjoyed our stay and the little touches left by Lona. It was decorated for Christmas which was super nice. We enjoyed the stay with our dog - it was absolutely perfect and the hosts went above and beyond. I can 100% recommend this place.

It was bliss. A beautiful location right in the middle of nature. Sat in the garden you could hear the birds and the bees, it was very peaceful. The pod was super cute and had everything we needed and the hot tub was a great addition. Brian, the owner, was lovely. Really helpful and welcoming… Thank you for letting us stay, we had a fabulous weekend :D I would definitely go back and 100% recommend a stay at The Orchard Glamping Pod to others :)

Goodwick seems a fairly quiet village, the centre doesn't...

Goodwick seems a fairly quiet village, the centre doesn't have that many amenities, the hotel, a pub and a small restaurant come takeaway. Just along the road, there's a garage with a reasonable shop. Might sound odd, but the air had the smell of buddleja flowering everywhere. All seemed pretty peaceful.

We lived in Fishguard some years ago and do come back to...

We lived in Fishguard some years ago and do come back to visit friends and the place itself. We still love the area as much, if not more now than when we were here previously, there’s plenty to see and do and the locals are fantastic, so friendly and welcoming. We are thinking of moving back, that’s how much we love the place!

Goodwick is a very quiet little harbour town, with nothing to really see or do, town centre was very small with only cafes, bar, pharmacy and boots with the odd independent shop. Ok to stop on your way through south wales or as a base to explore.

Not for disabled people. Totally run down. Steep slopes. Only a couple of shops. Pavements and roads need attention. Car park cost £15 for 5 days. Two local cafes were really good. Other than thise cafes there were two fish and chip shops one with Indian food too. Rose and Crown restaurant was very good for breakfast and evening meals. Staff were very friendly and obliging. Other than walking there wasn't much else to do. If you travel 20/30 miles you would reach beaches. As the weather was bad we didn't do the beaches but shopping could be reached about 14 miles away.

A lovely little seaside town, people where very nice and friendly there. Has a nice playground by the sea and great restraunts, could do with a few more places for kids entertainment. Overall lovely place.

Kind, friendly and helpful staff.

Kind, friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was ok; value for money. Room was clean & tidy. Pub on ground floor is cosy, but a bit noisy. Goodwick doesn’t offer a variety of restaurants: go to Fishguard for a decent dinner.
