The warm hosts make you feel welcome. The rooms are very nice and there are a lot of details in the B&B that make you feel special. The location is outside of the big tourist attractions which was for us a benefit. The breakfast is wonderful but what makes it at great experience is the option to eat in in the evening a la carte! They can make you unbelievable dishes (a star rating level). And they have a good car charger (32A/21 kW AC).

Staying in the Croft House was a wonderful experience. The view over to Dunvegan Head was stunning. Great facilities for cooking too. Electric heating system kept the home warm. There was also a wood fire. Washing machine was great as we had been travelling for over a week. We used the clothes horse for drying the clothes. We were two couples so having two bathrooms was good. Both bedrooms are upstairs. With one bathroom, with a shower over the bath, upstairs and the other bathroom, with a shower, down stairs. Bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious. Walked along the road for great views and down to the local harbour and to see the sheep and cows that wander the local area.

The nature in Glendale is beautiful with mountains, rivers and lakes. Sheep roam freely. In parts very busy roads. Many sights are crowded. If you want more solitude with slightly less rugged mountains but impressive mountain ranges and wide unobstructed views over lakes and beautiful beaches visit Lewis and Harris instead.

The location is absolutely beautiful, with breathtaking views of the lake. The bungalow itself was well-equipped with all the amenities that we needed, and it was situated in a quiet area which made for a very relaxing vacation. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in a stunning setting. The booking process was also easy and hassle-free, which was a bonus."
