A wonderful family-run farmhouse B&B. Be prepared for a warm Welsh welcome. Nigel and Jane were the perfect hosts making our stay just that more special. The room is cosy and comfortable and a superb breakfast is provided – choice of Traditional or Welsh. Don’t forget to try the variety of jams. We would have loved to stay longer to make use of the common rooms especially the period style lounge. Free and safe on-site parking is provided – always preferred when using a rental vehicle. Carmarthenshire, Swansea, Gower Peninsula and Pembrokeshire are just a short drive away. Sorry we did not get to meet Rosie and Jasmine.

Absolutely stunning place, beautiful setting, all the amenities. Would have loved to use the sauna but couldn't really figure it out but that's on me. Pretty perfect stay.

Such a peaceful area, set in lovely grounds. The cottage is well appointed, comfortable and excellent order. So nice of the owner to quickly knock and check I have everything I wanted. It’s only a couple of miles from the local town with the amenities.

The town felt a little sad but having discovered the...

The town felt a little sad but having discovered the colliery history that is understandable. The people were incredibly friendly everywhere we went and I would definitely go back. The strange little local market in town is definitely worth a visit.

I knew the area I was visiting and had come to re-live my Grandfather's childhood in the Swansea Valleys. We met up with a local historian, viewed the Heritage Centre at Pontardawe and tracked down the colliery where my Grandfather worked in Clydach
