We were upgraded to a double from 2 single beds at no extra charge and no fuss. Manager was very helpful and showed us a lovely clean room with great clean bathroom. Entire place was spotless. The location was excellent. The attached Chinese restaurant was one of the best I've ever eaten in and I've eaten in many.

We had an amazing stay at the Highland Club for NYE. Our apartment in the old abbey was so spacious and lovely with modern furniture and all amenities you could think of. We had a fully equipped kitchen, huge living room, lovely bedroom and bathroom. A welcome basket was waiting for us, filled with all sorts of lovely stuff (snacks, noodles, rice, wine, cookies, fudge etc.). Also the fridge was stocked with milk, we had all the basic cooking ingredients... simply amazing! Staff were very friendly and helped us with our luggage (there is no elevator). The common areas were amazing - if you are a Harry Potter fan, this is the place for you! It really felt like real-life Hogwarts! We loved the indoor pool and also the big "common room" with pool tables and other games. The courtyard with the big chess game was also really lovely. Location right at the shore of the Loch Ness and only a 5min walk to the centre of the town! Will definitely come back!

Small compact town, but with a few options for food places, gift shops and a short walk to go in search of the loch ness monster. Or you can watch boats navigate the locks right in the middle of town. Town in the evening was nice and calm and first thing in the morning also. By midday it was pretty busy with day trippers so keep that in mind

Lovely little shops to walk in and out of.

Lovely little shops to walk in and out of. You get to watch the loch in action with the four levels the boats have to go through to get to the next section. This is very interesting and a good place to watch this. There are many walks you can do along the Loch which are very picturesque.

Beautiful scenery. Brilliant trips on the Loch Ness Cruises. Plenty of places to visit. Plenty of cafes, bars, restaurants, gift shops. Fascinating watching the boats going up and down the series of locks. It certainly was not a disappointment.

The local pubs are excellent for food and drink and the Loch boat tour (Cruise Loch Ness) is a must. Gorgeous little city, great for a 2 or 3 night stay. DelightfulNess is great for lunch and the Lock Inn does a brilliant dinner.

Cute little town on the south end of Loch Ness.

Cute little town on the south end of Loch Ness. It's quite in the mornings and evenings but gets very busy over day with day tourists by the bus load. Our accommodation was not on the main road, so we hardly noticed the other tourists. Great place for day touring to all four directions as we did.

Fort Augustus definately worth a visit although gets very busy with tourists. We appreciated slightly quieter places with less people around. There are a few places to eat out and would recommend the Chinese food at the Richmond House Hotel where we were staying. A couple of pubs too which are right on the canal and providing a welcome rest

Absolutely lovely, check in was so easy (self check-in) were able to arrive earlier too. Natalie is an amazing hostess, so friendly and effortless. Lovely little cake in the room on arrival, breakfast absolutely outstanding so much choice and really well cooked. Fantastic location for Fort Augustus and Loch Ness. My first EVER stay in a B&B and if we ever return will absolutely stay again, and will recommend highly to others!

Location, Beautiful large apartment large bedrooms comfortable beds, Large Bathroom . Beautiful Living Room and Kitchen and Dining area. The washing machine is a bonus. Only metres away from Fort Augustus Village and restaurants. Great place to relax for a couple' of days. Great and helpful staff. Easy to check in. Great views from Apartment windows

Immaculately clean and cozy room. Staff were so nice and helpful. Great facilities, loved having access to the couches in the lounge area and the bar was great too. Drying room was a godsend for drying out my stuff after a rainy walk into Fort Augustus. Dinner was tasty and they’ve got butteries at breakfast, what more could you want :)

The property was beautifully furnished with everything we required for a five night stay. The beds were comfortable and rooms spacious. The on-site facilities were fantastic and well managed. Fantastic location on the shores of Loch Ness and in the heart of Fort Augustus. Lots to do in the surrounding area for families.
