Mark and Ann made a genuine effort to communicate smoothly with us even before we arrived at the accommodation. The bedroom, bathroom, and living room on the second floor were all very clean and stylishly decorated. We were pleasantly surprised when we went upstairs to the living room, where Scotch whisky and glasses were set out for us, along with bread and drinks for breakfast. The host's thoughtful gestures warmed our hearts. We enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing walk along the beach. On the way to the basalt beach, we saw sheep grazing. We walked along the shore, explored the rocks, and watched the sun descend towards the horizon. It was just us and the sheep, gazing at the sunlight fading away on the beach. We were able to enjoy the small, cozy fireplace. Even in summer, with daytime temperatures ranging between 12-19 degrees, it was quite windy, so the time spent by the fireplace was warm and comforting. Throughout our travels, we felt the generous spirit of Scotland, especially here. After two weeks of travel, we were gifted with the perfect rest.

Cuillin Hills Hotel is beautiful. It was a very peaceful place to stay. All the staff are friendly and very helpful. The hotel is very clean and everything is onsite if you don’t feel like going into town. The food is delicious.with plenty to choose from.

Isle of Raasay is beautiful and definitely worth the ferry ride. It‘s a great way to combine an overnight stay with a whisky tasting and distillery tour. The 3-course dinner menu at the hotel restaurant as well as the breakfast were delicious. We stayed in room 5 which I guess is the smallest but it has all what‘s required for a short stopover… The tasting and distillery tour is for obernight guests free, which we did’t know at first but the hotel refunded the prebooked tours… the staff and tour guide were very passionate and friendly. It was a hreat experience! We would recommend it to everyone travelling around isle of skye…

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location is perfect, right in front of the pier, offering a breathtaking view. My room seemed to have been recently renovated, with a modern and excellent bathroom. The view from the window was absolutely stunning. Breakfast was lovely, with a good selection of food. The staff were all incredibly friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. I absolutely loved it and would highly recommend it!
