Attention to detail was excellent even a pair of binoculars in the room to look at the view and wildlife. Breakfast was to a very high standard in beautiful surroundings. The grounds were lovely and footpaths well maintained.

rooms were nice, tidy, clean and had all that was needed, staff were fantastic and friendly. would definitely rebook there if back in exmouth as the position of the hotel was also great, between the sea front and shopping area.

Very friendly staff as soon as you arrive and throughout my stay.. Breakfast" included" was very nice and with of plenty juice, and once again friendly staf waiting to serve you.. Some reviews state that it's dated ,, well that doesn't bother me or most people, as we're only there to sleep, so when you're sleeping, who can see it??. It a short walk to the beach and town centre. I really enjoyed my stay there and as I told them on reception,, ILL BE BACK. !!!!!!!!!

We love Exmouth and go on an annual basis.

We love Exmouth and go on an annual basis. The sea front is brilliant , a long 2 mile sandy beach , with thoughtful construction , offering good amenities for both adults and children. Would be good to have another loo block. Some great cafes - esprecially the Italian. We always go on the train from Exmouth to Teignmouth, Dawlish Warren which is very good value for money - beautiful scenery of the estuary.

I love Exmouth during the Autumn /winter days , its...

I love Exmouth during the Autumn /winter days , its esplanade is a lovely walk , the shops are a little bit different , they have a brilliant fabric shop , well worth a visit if you are a crafter . The indoor market is somewhere just to walk around and pick up a few bits . # The park is so lovely and with all the changing colours of autumn is beautiful . Plenty of places to eat out and supermarkets for when you want to eat in .

Bring a good pair of comfy shoes.

Bring a good pair of comfy shoes. Talcum powder to get the sand off your feet easier. Lots of good eating places. We tried the grove a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Excellent Lots of interesting places to visit locally.

An attractive small town that benefits from looking out over...

An attractive small town that benefits from looking out over both the sea and estuary. The shops, station and ferry (for Starcross) are all within easy walking distance. Exmouth is at one end of the Exe Estuary Trail: we cycled from Exeter (and back at the end of our stay). This is a very scenic, mostly off road and mostly flat route, highly recommended.

Great beaches, good dog walking, most beaches closed to dogs in the summer, but Red Rocks beach was open. Lots of places to eat and most where very good prices One of the Cleanest places i have visited!!!

Lovely clean beach.

Lovely clean beach. A busy town with a mix of shops and eating places. Manor Gardens Park was a lovely place to sit quietly. People very friendly. The Bath House restaurant very reasonably priced, good food, good service.

The staff were very helpful in finding us a ground floor room as my partner was struggling with his breathing. The location was great, just across from the beach and close to pubs and restaurants. We met with friends and had food/drinks at The Engine Shed which I would recommend. The room was basic but clean. The hotel could do with some updating. Not worth £127. I have stayed in far better hotels for much less. However, Exmouth Pride was on, so this could be why the price was so high.

The staff pleasantries, good manners and friendliness is better than other Hotels I have stayed in in Exmouth and Devon as a whole! I like a nice view from my hotel window, although on the 1st Floor level and also Tree Top level, my sea view was obstructed but not un pleasant where I could at least see the Estuary and Dawlish Way! The Imperial is ideally located for a Coastal/Beach and Town walk and availability to frequents shops, restaurants' and Pubs as you wish.

Impressive frontage hotel, on a lovely road, sitting high above Exmouth sea front, beautiful sea views and just stones throw from restaurants and bars. Greeting on check in and out was very friendly and welcoming, very impressive attitude. Although we didn’t use them, they had a large restaurant and separate bars, which looked really nice. Comfortable and clean, had a great sleep.

A very well located hotel. I enjoyed my brief stay there very much. The room was good and comfortable. I enjoyed eating at the Wings Bar and also went to Budleigh Salterton. If I was to return to Exmouth for a longer trip, I would certainly stay at the Exmouth Beach Hotel.
