Very large hotel in lovely grounds.

Very large hotel in lovely grounds. We stayed for two nights 1/2 board. The room was nice and parking close to. Good sized TV in room, hairdryer, comfortable beds. The lift was out of action and a real pain as we had a 90 year in our party, they could have moved them to the ground floor but they had corporate large parties going on and so we were in a area which was away from that. The Tempur restaurant was really, really good food and service was, excellent. The breakfast included was extensive abd also excellent the staff wwre excellent and the whole place was well presented abd clean. No faults at all except the lift out of action

This is a tatty, aging, enormous conference hotel.

This is a tatty, aging, enormous conference hotel. It's not very clean, the rooms can be miles from the reception down ling nondescript corridors and the soundproofing between the rooms is terrible.

Eastwood is so down to earth .a good range of shops and...

Eastwood is so down to earth .a good range of shops and interesting things to do .also if you're a drinker it's good for that .. It's got a lovely old fashioned but modern feeling to it . Everyone so friendly.DH Lawrence would be proud that the historical nature of the town has been preserved.its like stepping back in time . It would also be good for ghost hunters and that kind of activity .

We enjoy two nights staying! This is our 3rd time here . Since we have a little conference for retreat 20 person at 25-27,August.We all our members enjoying the staffs services and the hall a lot of spaces,swimming pool and outside take a walk ! And we surely planned a retreat camp again at next year !

This hotel is spread out so if you are less mobile be warned. Whilst it is clean and well appointed it could be a bit of a walk from you car to the room or from the room to the public areas. Obviously a popular wedding venue.

Great large hotel. Very very clean. It smelt beautiful everywhere you walked. Very spacious rooms. Plenty of rooms to just sit and chill with free coffee or tea and on the afternoon a piece of fruit or a cake or biscuits all free. Plenty of tables and chairs to sit outside with a coffee after breakfast. Getting in and around Eastwood was easy. Plenty of shops bars and food outlets nearby. We went to Aeropark in East Midlands and Bluebell farm for the little one and they were great days out.

Was a lovely hotel good facilities although the bed wasn't up to my expectations. I ate out and didn't go to the bar downstairs.but my first night I had a meal downstairs and it was very good . Staff that I encountered where lovely .Kim was lovely and professional who showed me to my room . Sun inn hotel is a fantastic historical building and I love that it's convenient for myself when I need a few nights away .bit disappointed no ghostly activity.but still felt the essence. Thankyou I shall return again Barbara Trivett

It's a wonderful location, set in lovely grounds, with lots of free parking space. The staff were friendly and helpful and made a real fuss of my partner's pet dog. Our room was fine, I loved the spa facilities (sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and good-sized pool) and the food was excellent at breakfast and evening meal. Considering some of the prices we saw online at other venues, the amount we were charged represented really good value for money. Overall, I would thoroughly recommend Eastwood Hall for a relaxing short break.

I was staying in Eastwood for a works Christmas party. The only other option was twice the price and a typical big hotel. The Sun is right in the heart of the town and close to all the other bars. It was "Mad Friday / Black eye Friday" so the how safe is the area reflects that. I have stayed at the Sun twice before and there was no issues. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Excellent value for money. I will stay here again.
