Located on the Eastbourne beachfront, this is the perfect location for a visit to this elegant resort town. Having worked for BP for over 20 years and on numerous business trips to the UK, as well as four personal trips with my family, I've stayed at many five-star chain hotels. Not only is it clean and convenient, exceeding my expectations, but it's also a great value for money. The friendly service of the reception staff is particularly noteworthy, and I'm deeply sorry I missed the meals and drinks due to my busy schedule. Next time I visit the UK, I'll definitely return and stay for a few days.

The place was fantastic, with an amazing sea view. The room was very large, with a beautiful bow window and even a leather couch positioned in front of it. The bed was huge. We had a great stay in this fabulous British hotel and with a great room with seaview. On our trip around the world we have came more times in Eastbourne, It's always great to come of course but romantic hotelroom adds value, that can't be denied. The bed was lovely, the choosen colors very warm and the balcony was spacious and the windows were just cleaned before our arrival so we had a great view on the boulevard. Breakfast was excellent. The bathroom was a place on it's own with all comfort that we needed and had super soft toiletpaper, something you don't see that often. Very nice. We highly recommend this hotel. Fun place to be great restaurants likecmalayalam and the beacon has a roast dinner at shades in the restaurant. It’s a friendly place with a beach that you can sometimes if lucky find seaglass on. I love the promenade and historical old hotels. The piers always fun with the starlings flying around and I just love the place! Hope you will too! I love walking up the hill with the wackiest place for a football pitch and friendly coffee shops by the Italian gardens and opposite the hill. So many hidden treasures in charity shops and just great food Toby carvery at Christmas for delivery was handy. Local pizzeria was very good too we had cheese pineapple olives at puzza2nite reasonable price.

Eastbourne is a very lively, friendly place to visit. Even in the cold of November we experienced some lovely walks along the prom. Everybody we past either spoke to us, nodded as they passed by. The shopping centre was excellent, and the choices for food were in abundance.

I enjoy walking along the front and it is enjoyable whatever the weather. there are lots of cafes along the front so you can stop for refreshments whenever you like. The town is old fashioned but has a great choice of shopping and cafes etc. It is easily accessable by train or drive, I have used both. I would really recommend The Crown and Anchor, Bill's and The Belgian Cafe, which has great sea food. Beachy Head is a great walk but can be challenging depending on the weather. The Peir is a with various businesses on it, I reccomend The Victoria Cafe, food and coffee are great. A lovely place to go especially in inclimate weather, were you can sit and enjoy watching the sea in all it glory. The shopping streets are being improved at the moment and the shopping centre has a good range of stores. It has one of the friendliest Whetherspoons I have been in, it is always busy.

We saw a great concert in the Congress Theatre which has many good shows throughout the year. There are several other good theatres and in the summer a top ranking Tennis Tournament. The coastal walks are also excellent with Beachy Head nearby for amazing views. Plenty of Hotels of different sizes and costs--lots of good eateries. Good transport links--frequent buses and good train service to Gatwick Airport and London stations of London Bridge and Victoria.

My daughter and I love Eastbourne and we often stay at the Lansdowne Hotel. The staff are very friendly, the hotel is very comfortable, reasonably priced, and conveniently located opposite the sea front and within walking distance from the town centre, theatres, pier and bandstand. The hotel has lift access to all floors. Plenty of available parking on the sea front with free parking for blue badge holders. We stayed for breakfast which was excellent. There is plenty to do in the area which is perfect for disabled travellers. Would recommend.

I love this hotel. It is right on the seafront, opposite the wish tower, and the sea view rooms are lovely as a result. It is probably classed as a ‘budget hotel’, but I’ve stayed in several rooms that have all been comfortable and clean. On my recent stay, I was upgraded so I appreciated that. Every staff member I’ve interacted with has been lovely. It’s my first choice hotel in Eastbourne due to value for money, location, and friendly/relaxed vibe.

Really welcoming environment, Gaynor was a fabulous Host. The Room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Right near the seafront so easy access to amenities. The breakfast on offer was amazing and Gaynor made it very personalised and had a big variety of options to choose from. Gaynor makes the B and B what it is. The best place to stay in Eastbourne.
