Our room was very spacious and comfortable with dual aspect windows overlooking the adjacent farm fields, large cupboards for storing our suitcases, tea, coffee and biscuits as well as free bottled water was supplied and we had a large clean bathroom. Breakfasts were wonderful. Plenty of choice, delicious and very generous portions. I loved the bran flakes with a great assortment of fruits and yoghurts, orange juice, croissants with ham and cheese, toast and so it goes on. My husband tucked in to the huge but tasty full English breakfast each morning. When we come back for a return visit, and I am sure we will, I would like to try the omelettes. The location was perfect for us, so lovely and quiet but still very close to Attleborough. Some great pubs nearby - we ate at the Nags Head which was excellent and I can highly recommend. It was a few minutes walk from the b&b. There is plenty of parking, a great space upstairs to sit and relax and enjoy the beautiful country views through the huge glass window. The host Andrew was very friendly, helpful and made us feel very welcome - we enjoyed the chats over breakfast in the mornings.

The room was comfortable, clean and cosy. The staff were kind, helpful and courteous. Breakfast was lovely. My Full English was made specially for me (and had not been made in advance and left under a hot lamp). They catered for food allergies without a problem and were very nice when we were a bit late to check out. I have a relative living nearby and will definitely book another stay in future. Very pleased with my choice.

Two pubs in East Harling, one with limited opening hours. The food menus looked good but I didn't eat there. The Nags Head sold a lovely pint of Timothy Taylor. Great butchers, a local store, fish and chip shop, sandwich/cake shop and pharmacy + no doubt others I didn't see. Anyone thinking of visiting East Harling should be aware taxis are like hen's teeth, so rare as to be almost non existent. I went to the English Distillery 2 miles out of the village and wanted to get a taxi back at 12:30 on a Saturday. I called the local taxi company and was told the next available one was 18:00!!!. Uber do not cover that area. The English Distillery nearby has tours and a nice selection of select, special whisky. Tours are available (note comment about taxis).

Lovely location on edge of the village with lovey views over the surrounding countryside . . Very welcoming warm friendly host .A home from home lovely comfortable room . Large bathroom with walk-in shower . Lovely garden to sit and relax in . Breakfast was excellent . Nothing to dislike about this B&B .

The location seemed fine when I booked Sunset House.

The location seemed fine when I booked Sunset House. Having the Nag's Head within walking distance was great for dinner. But we wanted to vary the restaurants where we ate and ended up as far away as Thetford. Not a big problem, but something I should have foreseen. Otherwise, the location worked well for an exploration of Norman and medieval churches.

Our host, who owned the B & B, was exceptionally charming, knowledgeable and efficient. Only 3 guest bedrooms are available, and breakfast was served in an open plan kitchen/diner - our host introduced us to the other guests and whilst cooking our delicious breakfast made sure that we each felt welcome and that the conversation flowed well.

Fantastic location for us East Harling is a lovely well located and serviced village The property is compact and bijou but takes nothing away from it being beautifully clean, with everything you need at hand. A small supply of goodies welcome you also. Loved the outside area ,the weather wasn't suitable for sitting outside on this occasion, but imagine it's very peaceful on a summer's evening.. Overall I would re-visit should I be in the area again. and totally recommend to anyone. First class 5* out of 5

Myself & my wife have just returned from a peaceful weekend break at Sunset house, absolutely fabulous host & the loveliest hotel. We were made to feel so comfortable by Andrew on arrival, he was so accommodating & nothing was ever too much trouble! Hotel was immaculate, & also in the perfect location too. Definitely one of the best stays & weekend breaks we’ve had in a long time. Thank you for everything Andrew, you are the perfect host Absolutely fab!

Great location - probably the closest B&B to Snetterton Circuit. Price far cheaper than other local hotels. Big choice for the included breakfast. Run by the friendliest couple you could ever hope to meet. Very busy though so you will likely need to book far in advance.

East Harling is a lovely village surrounded by beautiful country. The Elms was the perfect place for a stopover. Nice comfy bed, great shower and a good breakfast - try the whisky marmalde - from single malt no less! Super and friendly hosts too.
