This is my first time in the UK and i came directly from the airport to Trafford hall. Staff was amazing and i met some other guests too. They are very friendly specially my dorm mate IAN , Dory and Andy .

Our stay was amazing! Accommodation is in a great secluded area of Frodsham which made us feel like we were miles away from home. You can clearly tell every little detail has been thought of by Lady Heyes. From the cover over the top of our Hot Tub, to the comfortable spacious sofa perfect for relaxing in the night time. Nothing was too much for the staff in reception and they made us feel very welcome. Will definitely be returning!

Very nice , clean and a great location.The moxy is a great hotel very close to town centre , which suited me I had only walking distance to where I needed to go , when visiting Chester again in the future , the moxy would be my first & favourite choice .

Paul and Mark are really good managers who' understand customer's requirements. Their Sherriff is the best cooker who's services is upmarket. Besides making good dishes he goes an extra mile changing dishes according to the customer request. Thanks for the mushroom soup. Their cleaners always maintain a clean environment more than my expectations. I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a happy new year.

It's a well kept hostel do not expect the Hilton.

It's a well kept hostel do not expect the Hilton. It's clean ,food is good staff helpful, 15 min to Chester cost me £16. I can honestly say you will not find accomadation in or near Chester for the price they charge . I've stayed in many hostels both in.the UK.and Europe , and Dunham on the Hill is definitely in the top.5. Highly recommend.

It was easy for me to find this hotel.

It was easy for me to find this hotel. Parking spaces were available. Friendly staff. Lots of places to sit down to eat or just sit with a laptop. Even the fact that there were three other people in the room didn't bother me at all. I was able to get some sleep and was positive all day.

The setting was great as I said loverly gardens and woods friendly staff nice shared kitchen available games room and bar and the rooms were comfy and clean there is loads for families as your near chester and Wales so it's a good location for days out and shopping

Creaky metal bunks. Squeaky doors.

Creaky metal bunks. Squeaky doors. Carpet absolutely reeks of cheesy athletes foot. Yuk. Main door won't open without a hefty kick or 3 heavy pulls. There is no way the kids could get in or out in an emergency. Cold. Needed heavy socks and cardigan in bed. Shower blasts cold water alternately with hot. No shower mat. No bath available. Tiny black flies on toothbrushes! Food not that cheap, considering. Unsecured broken blind cord, dangerous to kids. No towels provided, unless you count the suspect one left crumpled in the bathroom. I stupidly thought 'linen provided' included towels. Gardens look lovely, but clearly not maintained as the paths were covered in debris and so slippery I could not let my kids play there. I nearly slipped in walking shoes. Staff super lovely. Too lovely to complain to really 🤦.

The location is beautiful but in a really good area just shy of the city without being too far away. I would have liked to have had the breakfast because it looked fantastic just unfortunately, I was on a tight time scale for getting back to Suffolk

This was perfect for us, we just wanted somewhere cheap for 1 night. The room was spotless and the staff were amazing, they were friendly and helpful, they couldn’t do enough for us. Was a bit disappointed with some of the guests not keeping the shared kitchen as clean as they should, considering how helpful the staff were and how clean the accommodation was, but would definitely recommend and will stay again xx
