One of the best places I have ever stayed at! Centrally located in the Peak District it is a perfect base from which to explore the whole area. The building, interiors and gardens are well kept, well decorated and exceptionally charming. The room was spacious and full if light. The food was of amazing quality and simply delicious. The staff were helpful, friendly and extremely attentive. You can tell everyone is working to make your stay as special as possible.

Fabulous breakfast and evening meal. Veggie burger was very nice. Very friendly and amenable staff. Good to have top ups to tea and coffee on the landing. Very close to our grand daughter's student accommodation which was a bonus. Quite area but not far to walk to bustling street with restaurants etc and also the botanic gardens. Free onsite parking.
