Great location at the Earlsdon area, one of the most popular areas in Coventry. Shops, bars, restaurants, everything is there. 10 mins walk to Coventry city centre. Lovely staff at the reception desk. Parking available in the garage, 8.00£ per 24h. The room is nice and spacious, and the bed is comfortable. The iron, hairdryer, glasses, cups and kettle are provided. 10th-floor room offers a wonderful view of Coventry city! I stayed at multiple places in Coventry, but this one is by far the best.

FAQs about hotels in Coventry

The Legacy of Legends

South-east of Birmingham, Coventry is best known for the shell of its old cathedral, a poignant reminder of the damage sustained during World War II. Part of its northern wall joins the new Modernist cathedral, designed by Sir Basil Spence.

In the neighbouring gardens are remains of an 11th-century Benedictine monastery set up by Lord Leofric. His wife - Lady Godiva - became Coventry’s greatest legend by riding naked on horseback in protest at her husband’s high taxes.

St Mary’s Guildhall is built on part of the old castle, and Baginton on the city’s outskirts houses the reconstructed Roman Lunt Fort. Also here is Coventry Airport, by the Midland Air Museum, whose exhibits include a Vulcan.

The Coventry Transport Museum houses examples of vehicles manufactured in the city over the years. Also historic are the canals north of the city centre, lined by Grade II-listed buildings. Other attractions include the Warwick Arts Centre – the UK’s 2nd largest – and the Ricoh Arena, home of Coventry City FC. The Sky Dome Arena is an ice hockey and music venue, while the best shopping is found in Arena Park Centre.

The city has 2 universities, so naturally features many bars and restaurants. There are also several Coventry hotels, guest houses and country houses on Booking.com, most with parking and some with pools.

Appalling. Cold food, rats in the courtyard, rubbish all over the car park, behind bed and very rude staff. Wouldn't want to stay for £0.00 if offered the place needs shutting down and reporting the heath department especially with vermin outside.

This was a first visit to Coventry.

This was a first visit to Coventry. The cathedral was absolutely amazing. We were also able to see a rehearsal of a play in the old cathedral to commemorate the 85th anniversary of the Coventry blitz. Unfortunately we didn't have enough time to visit all of the Herbert art gallery and museum but what we did see was very interesting. Would definitely like to come back again.

We came here for the Bob Dylan concert and took the opportunity to explore the city. The ruined/new cathedrals were lovely and moving; the Guildhall beautiful and the Transport Museum excellent. After the blitz in 1940 large swathes of the City were replaced with 1960s architecture which have not stood the test of time.

Coventry has a pleasant shopping area, and the multi-storey car park was easy to access and navigate, with reasonable prices. There were several well-known food options, and we chose the Slug and Lettuce because it offered the best vegan and vegetarian choices for the group. I also enjoyed a very good coffee from an independent café.

On arrival been greeted by two lovely ladies at the desk. They were very polite and supper helpful. When i entered the room i been in shock ( in a very positive way). Room been very cosy and welcoming. Little fridge in a room to keep your drinks and snacks cold. Bed absolutely amazing and very comfortable. Room very clean. I had an option with a breakfast, and I must say was amazing. Vey good choice of food. Only thing I would change, is from what time the breakfast is served. 07:30. Is a bit late if someone is on very short visit.

It is a small town with some great attractions.

It is a small town with some great attractions. There is a fabulous cathedral in its three phases - ancient, medieval and recent. The area around the cathedral is excellent for walking around and enjoy good food. For car enthusiasts, there is an excellent Transportation Museum. The Warwick Castle, Shakespeare's hometown and Birmingham are nearby

Value for money.I always stay here and if its fully booked. Believe it or not I sleep in the hire car. Even if there are other hotels nearby available at cheaper rates (which is very rare to none). Bearing in mind i travel to and from Birmingham soon as i wake up. I have no connections or business in Coventry whatsoever!!! Or maybe im just a loyal person.

Hotel was converted from the old Coventry Evening Telegraph building and is really charming. Really convenient to Coventry centre. Room 210 is enormous and has everything you could need - it used to be the dark room, so has no windows but I found it perfect for sleeping. Breakfast great, staff great. Spotlessly clean and quiet.

The hotel and the rooms were dated and required some renovations. It was fine for a cheaper place to stay in Coventry. The bathroom was bad, pealing paint, shower was a trickle. The residents were notably anti-social and proceeded to argue well into the early hours . Unsure I would return if prices increased from what they are.
