The welcome was so warm, the family are so lovely and cannot do enough for you. We all also absolutely loved the huge bath and bathroom. Cracking sleep in comfy bed and delicious brekkie.

We loved the location, our free upgraded room to a newly redecorated room with king size bed and the hospitality we received from arrival to departure by the owners. The breakfast was loveky and evening meal superb. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to others. The only sticking point was the lack of on site parking, but there is a long stay car park relatively near.

The staff were welcoming on arrival. They provided assistance with booking a taxi for myself and my daughter. They were engaging in conversation and interested in hearing where we were going etc. Our waiter on the first night was really helpful when I mentioned my daughter was a fussy eater. He was able to arrange a really plain burger which she loved. On the subject of food......it was outstanding and very reasonably priced for the excellent quality and presentation that arrived to the table. It was really nice to see it was dog friendly too. Two guests has their lovely dogs along and the lay happily under the tables while their owners ate a meal. The bedroom was beautifully presented. Immaculately clean. The radio playing gently in the background on arrival was a really nice touch too. Just a final word on breakfast.....we opted for room only but when we arrived we saw the breakfast menu and swiftly opted to book breakfast., a decision i will never regret. The beautiful bread and perfectly soft poached eggs were magnificent. Well done to all at the black swan. A top class place to stay.

We absolutely loved how welcoming and accommodating the hosts were. The Gothic room was so beautiful, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was immaculate and spacious. The breakfast was delicious, and the dining room was as the rest of the property, beautiful. The front grounds were beautiful, and we enjoyed sitting on the bench playing with Mr Button's.

The property was even nicer than the pictures.

The property was even nicer than the pictures. The host provided snacks but these were above & beyond what I would have expected. On the whole, it felt like a home away from home. I have family in Chippenham so this was close enough to visit them plus an easy enough drive to places I wanted to visit such as Bristol, Bath and Cheddar Gorge.

Excellent stay. Had all the necessary things you would need. Had an excellent restful stay. Mike was very welcoming and they even provided the basics for breakfast as we had an early start. Would fully recommend the Annex.
