Absolutely fantastic stay in an old quiet village. Beautiful house, huge, warm and comfy room with amazing newly decorated bathroom. I loved the coutryside stylishness of it. There was a Nespresso coffe machine in the room as well as kettle and selection of teas. The breakfast was great cooked by the owner who is also a pro chef :) the conversations we had with her were an absolute highlight! I will definitely stay again

A beautiful building set it a large, peaceful garden. It had a relaxed and homely feeling, helped by the warm, friendly attention that we received from the owner,Amanda. Lovely bedroom with wonderful views over the garden and surrounding countryside, and the breakfast was served in a room with garden view. My wife and I enjoyed our stay immensely and will look forward to returning soon.

Charminster is a small village in Dorset.

Charminster is a small village in Dorset. The village has a characteristic Old English atmosphere and is full of charming historic cottages. We ate at the Sun Inn and at The Gamekeeper - both are excellent. As long as you have a car, it's easy to get around. For us the best activity in Charminster was walking.

Charminster is only a small village and the only facility is...

Charminster is only a small village and the only facility is the Sun Inn which was excellent for evening meals. The Inn is only a short distance from Little Court. Charminster is only a short distance from Dorchester which has a lot of facilities both attractions and places to eat. It was unfortunate that during our stay the road into Dorchester was closed due to roadworks and the diversion route was quite long.

All staff very friendly & helpful; breakfasts offer the usual good options including 'full English'. You have complete flexibility regarding access to the hotel. My dog (a Border Collie) slept in the car as he normally does when away from home. I exercised him in the extensive garden morning and evening. Excellent evening meals are available at The Sun Inn, 10 minutes walk down the road. The photo is of Little Court and walking on the Iron Age fort, Maiden Castle This was an enjoyable visit.

The setting of the manor building was lovely on the edge of Charminster and close to Dorchester. Our room was very comfortable, clean, and well laid out in terms of the bed and furniture. We had a good night's sleep in a very comfortable bed. Amanda our host greeted us warmly and looked after us well. Her recommendation of the Sun Inn as a good eating place was spot on - an excellent carvery and tasty desserts. We would highly recommend Little Court.

It is a beautiful hotel in a quiet and ideal location for visiting the area, with friendly and very proffesional staff. The room was a great size with quality furnishings, both the room and bathroom were immaculate. Good choice for breakfast and the food was delicious. Will certainly stay again if l am in the area.

The bed was the most comfortable of all the hotel beds I have ever slept in. Seriously snooze-worthy. Amanda's check-in is quick and takes seconds. There was no check-out: I just left!. Very laid-back. Good breakfast served cheerfully. Spacious bathroom.
