The hotel is a heritage site with a beautiful river flowing besides it. The staff is very courteous, especially the restaurant staff, which helped us out as my elderly parents were not able to eat Traditional English food. The location, feel and rooms were excellent. Thank you so much

I love this hotel, the setting is open and rural with easy car parking. The rooms have been refurbished in line with the house's history. Rooms contain everything needed. Dinner was lovely and breakfast good. The public rooms take you back to an age of elegance. The stagf are always helpful. I have stayed here before and will again a lovely experience.

Lovely decorated room with a really comfortable room. We had a very delicious breakfast. It was the best on our trip. The owner of the B&B were really nice and gave us good tips where to go for dinner. Thanks for your hospitality

We had a wonderful stay! Alan was the most welcoming host and the accommodation was superb - clean, cozy and stylish. The breakfast was excellent and our personal preferences were taken account. We will definitely come again if we are in the area.

Everything it was amazing and above our expectations We had access to or own private bathroom that was modern and beautiful, we both felt very comfortable showing here as in other places they have shared bathrooms and it's not as comfortable. The Private hot tub was the cherry on the top for us and also the seat swings around the garden to sit on and enjoy the views. Me and my wife came here after or wedding in gretna on are way up in to the Scottish mountains and we couldn’t be happy with are visit. So much so we are already planning on coming back in the summer months

We loved this property! So spacious and well decorated. Had everything we needed, spotlessly clean and comfy beds. Really reasonably priced for a large place. Would highly recommend. Good tvs with access to Netflix Disney etc and tea and coffee sachets. Some games as well. Really well equipped for children a cot was put up with a nice blanket and some baby books.

The service offered by the owner and family impeccable. We arrived late due to flight issues and they couldn't have been more accommodating with our late check in... due to various reasons they also helped us with transport issues whilst we were in town and they made me the best breakfast I had in a very long time.
