Spacious, clean room. Had mostly everything we needed but I think for the room price individual toiletries (both shampoo and conditioner) would've been appreciated. The shower gel/shampoo combo isn't great on the hair! Next door to a pub so expected some noise but it wasn't too bad. Staff were lovely, breakfast was good. Location is great with a lovely view if you have a front-facing room. Decor was a bit chipped/tired/dated and the ripped wallpaper by the entrance door needs replacing.

The property was well tucked away, private, exceptionally clean and well stocked with everything you could possibly need. It was tastefully decorated and made the best use of the available space. The supplies left for breakfast ( including eggs from the resident chickens) were a particularly nice touch.

The views from the sea front and walks really good.
The views from the sea front and walks really good. A visit to the castle is a must if you like history. For value for money on food there is a wetherspoons and couldn't go wrong. There is a local train station to get to most places and very easy to use, much better than driving especially in to Belfast.

If you're looking to get away from the city and noise and forget your troubles, this is the place. Melinda, the owner, was so gracious and wonderful. Her cooking and presentation were awesome. We enjoyed our stay there and would book again. If you don't have a car, I would not suggest staying there. But if you have a car, It's a great getaway place to stay. that I would rate a 10

In hindsight, I would have stayed here for an extra night rather than in Belfast as you wouldn’t be able to find anything close to this for similar prices in Belfast. It was my favourite stay during my 2 week trip in Ireland/Northern Ireland!

Upside-down layout of the house added an extra quirk and meant you got the excellent sea views from the living room. Bedrooms quiet and comfortable and the en-suite in the upstairs one was a good bonus, particularly if you have kids staying in that room. Hosts were lovely - really friendly and helpful and our little man enjoyed getting to know the dogs, horses & fish!
