The Apartment was amazing from the minute we arrived from how clean it was to how inviting it was with the basket of treats for the kids, the essentials in the apartment coffee,tea etc the comfort of everything was second to none & the view over the marina was amazing . We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this lovely cottage in Carrickfergus. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful, always quick to respond to any questions we had. The cottage itself was beautifully decorated, with great attention to detail. It had everything we needed, making our stay comfortable and stress-free. The WiFi worked flawlessly throughout the home, and the self-check-in and checkout process was seamless. The location was ideal – tucked away in a quiet neighborhood with free street parking, yet just a short walk to the castle, marina, and a grocery store. It was the perfect balance of peaceful surroundings and convenient access to local attractions. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. A well-deserved 10/10!

Very friendly lady that runs it. Very comfortable and roomy as well as very cool decore. All the amenities we needed, washer, dryer, fridge and off course the usual like a good bathroom, fully stocked kitchen to cook if needed and comfy beds as well as parking. We were walking distance to a playground, the grocery store, fast food and the local castle(!)

We stopped at Carrickfergus for 3 nights, which was perfect.

We stopped at Carrickfergus for 3 nights, which was perfect. It is so easy to get a bus into Belfast to visit the Titanic and do an open bus tour of Belfast. We enjoyed walking along the promenade in Carrickfergus and getting an ice cream from Mauds (would highly recommend the Poo Bear)! The Castle visit is a must, the guide was so knowledgeable and we really enjoyed it.

The house we stayed in was lovely and the town itself is...

The house we stayed in was lovely and the town itself is charming. But the people are not very friendly. We went to the local Wetherspoon for a meal and the locals were glaring at us. One man spat at my husband when he was having a smoke outside. It's too bad because the town is quiet and lovely. There is a castle by the sea and we had a nice walk. Maybe it was just that incident that put us off.

A pleasant small town on the shore of Belfast Lough about 10 miles from Belfast, boasting a historic castle, a delightful harbour and marina, and a good prom to stroll along. Good communications by bus or rail, and convenient for the ferries.

The apartment is in an excellent location right on the Carrickfergus foreshore, right in walking distance from a great pub, shops, bakery and cafes! It is very spacious, with a big kitchen and beautiful view out the front window. The host was lovely and met us at the property to show us around and give us local recommendations, which was very much appreciated!

Terrific apartment in a brilliant location with phenomenal views. Loved the really comfortable seats in the window, which allowed us to just sit, relax, and take in the views of the water and Carrickfergus Castle. Lovely touches by the owner with a welcome basket and water in the fridge. Would definitely recommend and will hopefully be back again very soon. K.

Carrickfergus is a great base for a holiday. There are restaurants, supermarkets and takeaways very close to the property. The property was cleaned to an excellent standard and there was a beautiful Christmas tree which was lit to welcome us when we arrived. There was also a welcome pack which was appreciated.

The two bedroom apartment sleeps 4, it is smack bang in the middle of Carrickfergus, with a Birdseye view of the famous Castle. The host laid on a welcome pack of all the necessity’s, private secure parking, so we could sleep well, knowing our car was safe and not under threat from the towns parking enforcers
