Everything you need is provided,even bisquit for your coffee .tv enough for me .I am completely satisfied with this hotel ,from rewievs I expected worse ,it is tipically welsh hotel,you can not expect luxus for such money and it has own welsh charm .

Incredibly well equipped cosy cottage, in the perfect location. Only a few minutes drive from a beautiful swim in Lake Bala and from many fell runs in the mountains. Lovely morning coffee views from the garden. The sound of the rain is very very calming to hear (if you're lucky enough to have a some heavy rain at night!)

We travel around a lot and always choose an apartment as it offers more freedom. We’ve stayed it lots but nothing comes close to this! Absolutely beautiful apartment recently renovated. The owners Karl and Helen are amazing. They have thought of every single detail. Even leaving us mince pies and some wine. Not a single item not thought about to make our stay as easy as possible. The apartment was so clean and smelt amazing. Very comfortable bed. Finished to an incredibly high standard. Bala its self has always been a favourite place of mine it’s now by far the best place ever, as my partner dropped to one knee and asked the question . On speaking with the owners who were so helpful and kind about our experience and stay that’s when they informed us that Llety Cariad translates to the Love Inn in English. Bala itself is beautiful and the community spirit is great. Amazing food available at the pub next door. And don’t be fooled by small town they do wild nights out! Everywhere we went was so welcoming and friendly.

A fantastic property in the middle of some fantastic scenery. The host was friendly and accommodating. A bit tricky to find on first arrival but the host provided fantastic directions and after finding the first time was well located between plenty of fantastic day-trips if needed, but also a fantastic cottage to just sit in and relax.

This was our second visit to Hen Ysgubor. The hosts are very helpful and on site if there are any issues. The property is excellent for a restful get away, well furnished and comfortable. Everything you could wish for. We would definately recommend it. Extremely clean and tidy and has stunning views from both the front and back of the property. We will be returning.

Spent 5 nights here and we wouldn't hesitate recommending this place to anyone thinking about a trip to Wales. The cottage had everything we needed, the views are fantastic and everything is within minutes. By the second day there, we knew we wanted to come back.
