Everything was absolutely perfect. All the staff was brilliant, the food was great, we just loved the hotel. We asked to change our room for the quiet one, and the manager gave us probably the best room in the hotel.

We were warmly welcomed by Janet who was very kind and attentive. She showed us everything in the property and advised an easy and fast way to see the beautiful scenery. Our room was lovely, clean and warm. There was a kettle, mugs and glasses, tea and coffee in the room to enjoy the morning. Nice kitchen in the property to cook something for the family. Really convenient!

We had an excellent stay at this well-organised centre, beautifully set in nature and offering all comforts. It is very quiet and peaceful. Our room was wonderful—very spacious and well organised—and the bathroom was also comfortable and roomy. The breakfast room was excellent, with a wide variety of options. The surrounding nature made for very pleasant walks. On the property, there is a small shop selling local products and handmade jewellery, which we really enjoyed. The staff were very friendly, professional, and always helpful. We really enjoyed our time there!

The apartment was equipped with a wide range of breakfast options, including tea and coffee, variety pack cereals, granola and muesli, sliced bread and jams. The location was to die for! The property is along a farm track with sweeping views from the window across the fields to the Menai Strait and Anglesey. Every evening we enjoyed a beautiful sunset across the sea. There were splendid country walks all around and access to Caernarfon and other popular tourist destinations.

The whole atmosphere of the place lived up to it's "retreat" name. Wish it was not so far for us to drive or would book again in a heartbeat. Lovely friendly people, great facilities, breakfast room a great place to meet and chat with other visitors. As for the library with log fire, would like to just stay in here and read and read. Thank you Matt, Clair and all the other staff I chatted to, chef, gardener etc. And thank you Wales for the four days of SUN.

The castle is impressive and rightly the main attraction. Segontium also interesting though museum closed. Just had one meal out - very pleasant lunch opposite the castle. Meals at the hotel were excellent so did not venture further afield.

The main attraction is the castle, which is enormous and quite extraordinary. Needs a good couple of hours at least. The town is also interesting and colourful. Other attractions within relatively easy reach.

The area around the castle is quaint and attractive. There’s lots to explore in the castle and the displays are interesting and informative. For eating and drinking you’re spoilt for choice. There’s plenty of convenient parking and it’s not too expensive. It’s a good base for visiting nearby attractions.

If you want to climb Snowdonia, it is a great location and a 30 minute bus ride. Also, the castle's preservation is one of the best. A delightful town which is really trying to attract visitors.

Spacious and clean. A short walk from Caernarfon centre, the castle and other tourist sites, (and the pubs and take-aways.) A view of Snowdonia from the main bedroom. Well furnished, and the beds were extremely comfortable. We were a little uncertain about parking and possible local noise but parked right outside the door everytime, heard nothing from the neighbourhood and only saw one person walk passed the house. We've stayed in North Wales often at various places but this new one is a new favourite and the host... fantastic!

An amazing experience to sleep in a property with the walls of Caernarfon. All the staff were very helpful. Our room was very comfortable although the pillows were too firm in my opinion. The breakfast was a winner and special mention to Delwyn who was so very helpful at the breakfast service and prevented me from burning the Inn down using the toaster!!! Parking is arranged by the staff and we managed to park at the side of the Inn at a cost of £10 per night. However there is free parking a short walk from the hotel.

Bar and restaurant were excellent as was the breakfast. Rooms are all slightly different from each other so even though we both paid for the same type of room mine was half the size of my colleagues. There is a castle about 300 meters from the hotel that is one of the largest and magnificant castles I've ever seen and absolutely has to be visited.

Snowdonia Cottage is in a quiet holiday park that is conveniently located very close to Caernarfon and is a great base for exploring North Wales. The cottage itself is very welcoming, homely and comfortable, easily accommodating a family of 5 over 2 bedrooms and has a lovely decked area to the back, I’m sure it’s beautiful on a warm day!
