The Hotel is 5star+. What more could you wish for overlooking the great St. Andrews and being treated the way you could only wish to be treated. Only issue was someone hit my car. Not hotels fault. All staff where great to talk to, service was excellent, very personable and professional.

Unfortunately we were only there for a one night stay as we were attending a wedding in ST Andrew’s. The Shangri la Bed and Breakfast is an excellent accommodation. The hosts are extremely helpful ,friendly and offer a spotlessly clean place to stay. Breakfast was delicious and nothing any bother for them. I cannot recommend the Shangri La highly enough. Wish we could have stayed longer to explore the area more. Hosts are very knowledgeable of the surrounding area which can be very helpful. Noticed there was an excellent bus service just outside their front door. Great value for money. Would definitely go back.

Beautiful countryside, very peaceful and relaxed.

Beautiful countryside, very peaceful and relaxed. Close to St Andrews and Dundee and several National Trust properties. Always something of interest to see, plenty more places to visit on a return visit.

The accommodation was outside Leuchars to the north.

The accommodation was outside Leuchars to the north. The countryside is interesting and the real feature was the Tay estuary. There is plenty to see to the south as well and we could have done with more time to cover Fife from Falkland House to Tayport. Tayport is quite sleepy and 'old fashioned' but we liked it.

A nice little hotel centrally located in the village of Leuchars. A great public bar with a nice selection of beers and spirits and s few screens showing sports. Hotel very cheap considering the area its in and compared to its competitors. Room quite spacious and clean. Bathroom facilities more than adequate.

The hotel stay was an affordable option to allow us to stay near a wedding venue. It met expectations and was very good value for money for two nights. Shared kitchen and bathroom were very clean. Room had a tv we could log into our own Netflix which was a nice touch.

The perfect place to stay if you need a stop over close to Leuchars train station. The staff were really friendly, the amenities were excellent and the room had a lovely large TV which was a bonus!
