I loved the hotel, fantastic location, right in the middle of the center. I arrived by train and walked to the hotel, and I left by bus to the airport, walked to the bus station. The hotel is nice, staff was extra helpful. I got a room on the 7th floor, spacious, a very good desk for work, a good chair for the desk. It is in a closed street, so there was no noise whatsoever, qI had great sleep in a comfy bed. The housekeeping was excellent, they changed everything and did it very quickly. I tried the fitness, it is not big but you have everything you need. There is water and extra towels prepared in the fitness, very useful! Air conditioning was spotless, and I could switch it off as well. Great stay. I strongly recommend this hotel.

FAQs about hotels in Bristol

From Brunel to Banksy!

Britain’s 4th most popular visitor destination, Bristol boasts Brunel’s magnificent Clifton Suspension Bridge spanning the River Avon. More Brunel handiwork is in the harbour where his SS Great Britain steamship is moored. Pirate walks here detail the city’s underground naval history.

Further north in Clifton is the world’s oldest zoo outside a capital city. Other Bristol attractions include At-Bristol Museum and the Grade I-listed Corn Exchange with its 4 "nails" outside where money changed hands. Also worth a visit is St Nicholas Market, in a Georgian square home to several bars and a Slow Food Market on the 1st Sunday of every month. Other Bristol shopping options include shopping centres at Cabot Circus, and Cribbs Causeway on the outskirts.

As a student city, Bristol really comes to life after dark. The live music scene here is fantastic and has given way to several internationally known bands, but for something more alternative head to Eastside.

Another option for alternative-seekers is the work of hometown street artists Banksy. Just like Booking.com’s Bristol accommodation, his work is spread throughout this fabulous city.

This Gateway to the West Country is served by Bristol Airport and Temple Meads train station. The old Bristol to Bath railway line is now a cycle route and makes a great day trip.

Great location for a city break.

Great location for a city break. We visited with our teenage twins and they enjoyed the exhibition at the Bristol Museum as well as the Suspension Bridge (visit the museum, too). Bristol is a mix of new and old, seems very vibrant and has some great architectural highlights. There is a lot to do and see, so definitely recommend it. Great for foodies, too, with many small independent restaurants and delis. Loved the cathedral, its spectacular.

I absolutely love Bristol.

I absolutely love Bristol. It’s attitude to the arts as a necessary part of our culture. It’s somewhat left leaning attitude to life. Accepting totally its part in slavery, yet rising above and beyond the past with a focus on the future, I could almost write an essay on my view of Bristol. - lucky Bristolians..

I love Bristol.

I love Bristol. Both my children live there so I tend to go there a lot. It’s a university town so full of vibrant and fun restaurants and students. Unfortunately there is a homeless problem but there is everywhere you go which is so sad. Having said that the city is a beautiful mixture of styles with the canal walks etc. Definitely worth a visit.

An amazing vibrant city, the docks, buildings and people are fantastic, parking is diabolical for visitors, Clifton's approach to parking is completely disadvantaging visitors to the city, the lack of any all day parking is ridiculous.

Amazing hotel, I really enjoyed my stay, great value for the price and perfect for solo traveller. The room was very cosy, clean and had everything I needed. My room was on the upper floor so it as quiet. The staff was always so nice and helpful. There is a bus stop right across the street and the bus will take you to the city centre in a couple of minutes. Also, there are many cafes, pubs and restaurants nearby and the whole area was really lovely and safe. If I go to Bristol again, I will definitely book this hotel.

Clean & comfortable hotel in good location for Bristol city centre. We a little bit of noise from the local bar, but the music did not continue late into the night and the sound proofing was better than other hotels and apartments I have booked in the past.
