The room was just as pictured - nice and clean, spacious, and perfect for a short stay or for a couple of days because of the fully equipped kitchenette. It’s also a 2-minute walk from the train station! (Just make sure to take a left out of the turnstiles and head back in the direction the trains were coming in from - then it’s just down the stairs and you’re there! (We went the way Google maps told us out the main train station entrance and it took us 10mins). I was also pleasantly surprised that there were a few hot items in the complimentary breakfast (bacon & eggs). The den was also lovely - you can play a game of pool down there and chill - we had it to ourselves while we waited for our train.

Lanka, Beau and Jamie tried their best and gave me the room I like. They were extremely friendly and helpful. I will be back in 2 weeks and hope to get room 205 with the view of the pier! Superb location. Three blocks from the main bus stop that takes you everywhere from Brighton. Bus stop across the street to Three Sisters and all the way to Eastbourne. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. The waitress was very nice. Took pictures of me and gave excellent service. The linen are fresh and new.

Lovely hotel, staff were superb and very helpful, room was big and comfortable, ambience was excellent, facilities are great, location is perfect! Diego in particular was super helpful, with great restaurant recommendations and advice. He is a genuinely lovely person to speak to and couldn't have done more to make sure we enjoyed our stay. Everyone else we spoke to was also extremely friendly and helpful - a nice balance between being attentive, but not overbearing. Lovely people. We can't wait to go back!

After a couple of not so great stays at other B&B’s the New Steine was a welcome & pleasant relief. The staff was very welcoming & helpful, Great location within walking distance of the of the ocean , pier etc & also close to great shops & restaurants. Wished we could have stayed longer.
