I cannot fault a thing about this property. Every service and every facility was to the highest standard possible. I opted for a double room with a hot tub, and the hot tub immaculate and had been cleaned/sanitised before our stay. The view from the hot tub was also amazing, making the hot tub experience that little more relaxing. To top it off, I requested a birthday package as it was my partners birthday, and they did an amazing job. They had balloons spiralling from the ceiling, some scattered on the floor, 2 big numbered balloons, and rose petals scattered on the bed (brownie points for me!)

The location was just perfect. It was central for us to adventure out and explore the Lake District. It was also an exciting location for relaxation in the evenings. Lots of fine restaurants and pubs to choose from with a lovely holiday atmosphere abounding everywhere.
Regretfully the car ferry was out of order and not available to us. That was a bit of a nuisance as our touring plans had envisaged that being available. None the less we had a fabulous holiday and were not overly put-out by the loss.

It is so easy going in Bowness we try to come here as often as we can. There’s something to do for everyone young and old. We have a dog now and he’s so relaxed here many places are dog friendly. Bars and restaurants brilliant especially Italians on the Main Street. Our favourite place can’t wait to come back

I liked the Beatrix Potter museum, Holehird Gardens, and Stagshaw gardens, Hayes garden centre up in Ambleside. Booked an amazing day trip with Mountain Goat tours that took us around ten Lakes of the Lake District with our amazing guide Mark Shipley. the restaurants I went to was Francine's up in Windermere, Urban Food House (superb) and the Magic Roundabout. I was within walking distance of everything in Bowness. I probably would avoid booking in the school holidays, was very busy everywhere. the weather was very changeable but it is the wettest area of Great Britain.

Visiting Bowness in November was a great idea.
Visiting Bowness in November was a great idea. I have been in the summer before and it is so busy it is unpleasant and parking is difficult. I would advise visitors to choose a hotel with private parking - preferably free, some charge for parking - leave a car there and walk to town or to the lakeside. Also be aware that Bowness is built on a steep hill and not all roads have pavements.

The location provided easy access to the main part of town as well as the harbor area. Easy to walk about town for a leisurely stroll. Dining options at the hotel were great - breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of cold foods being available as well as hot foods from the menu. Best full English we had on our trip! Dinner choices were also very good, particularly on the fixed price menu. All in all, we had a lovely stay at the hotel. We would definitely stay again when in the area.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Fellview. The owners are so friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and we had a great night's sleep. Very central location, only a few minutes walk down the road to Bowness on Windermere. Free parking outside the guest house. We would 100% recommend and look forward to staying again soon.
Breakfast was booked in times slots of 20minutes which ensured everything was freshly cooked with plenty of choice being available. We opted for bar meals in the evening which had a good selection all staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is decorated to a very high standard with comfortable
Furniture in the lounge / bar and public areas well

We spent 2 nights at the Churchills hotel with our dog. Very nice service, great location, a minute's walk from the lake. We were very pleasantly surprised at how dog-friendly this town is, which we were very worried about while driving. We recommend it to anyone who hasn't been there yet, a very nice place to stay.
This clean apartment is located in a superb location in Bowness on Windermere. We especially like the extra firmness of the mattress (the usual soft mattress of BnB or hotel hurts my back), which is very comfortable! The owner has provided useful information about the car park after confirmation of the booking.
The property was very clean and in an excellent location, just a short walk to the lake / bowness on Windermere town centre;

Centrally located in Bowness on Windermere and good for shops, food, pubs etc. Has a nice seating and eating area outside. Breakfasts were good and set in a lovely calming environment. Room servicing was excellent. Extra tea and coffee for your room freely available in the hallway.
Wonderfully spacious room; excellent WiFi; superlatively friendly proprietors Clare and Robert; great breakfast; easy walk to town centre and lake. F-35 flypasts over Lake Windermere from RAF base to the north an unexpected bonus!
Cleanliness and location was perfect close to all pubs restaurant's and attractions on bowness bay a little hidden gem for peace and quiet and a stone's through to bowness on Windermere that has lots to offer for all.
Very spacious.
Great location. Close enough to walk to the lakeside but private enough to avoid the crowds.
Clean and well equipped with everything you could possibly want for a short stay,
Beautiful garden.
We love the Belsfield Hotel. The staff are very helpful and the furnishings and decor are beautiful. The location is perfect, especially, if you cannot walk very far. Everything spotlessly clean.
Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Breakfast although simple was delicious. Location was perfect, short stroll to Bowness on Windermere and located near many shops and restaurants.
