Modern and spacious. Plenty of things to do … though we could only spend the night so really just used the room and one restaurant. The parking was very convenient. It was walking distance from the Birmingham airport (half an hour … so too far with luggage but good if you travel light).

Hotel was in a great location close to the BP Pulse arena. Staff were really friendly and the room had everything we needed Was nice to have breakfast included, although as the hotel was busy, there was always a line of people waiting, some people having to go up a few times to see if the buffet had been refilled.

Terrible Reception and logging in process.

Terrible Reception and logging in process. Poor customer service and help when this happened. Lack of apology, if it had all gone smoothly it would have been fine. Basic room but clean and comfortable, once we actually had a room and bedding. Practical for our needs, just below our (pretty bssic) expectations. Clean and beds comfortable is best I can say.

We left the room after roughly 2 hours . Bedding was dirty, drug paraphernalia under the bed and used cigarette on bathroom floor. Someone who stayed the night before also tried coming in our room looking for his phone that he lost! Felt extremely unsafe. Paid for food to be delivered but just wanted to get out of there. Booked another hotel immediately . Appalling service and disgusting. Genuinely don’t know how they are open!!

The location of hotel is the only thing going for it.

The location of hotel is the only thing going for it. It’s close to the airport and resorts world The room was too small. One towel and hand towel for two of us. One cup for two guests. Bathroom light didn’t work and no toiletries. Door to the room had to be pushed with force to open due to carpet restricting it. The noise from the outside was so loud I thought the window was open! Mirror on the wall in a terrible position We had no sleep!!

Well placed hotel if you are visiting the NEC.

Well placed hotel if you are visiting the NEC. About 10 minutes walk from the centre and made a great base for us while we were attending the car show. Staff were great, room was presentable, although the carpet in room 264 was badly stained with what looked like make-up or boot polish. Slept well as the beds were comfortable. The pool and changing area was a bit small for such a large hotel, but we used this when it wasn't busy so it wasn't so bad. Breakfast was great and good value for money, booking for the restaurant is recommended as it gets busy but overall an enjoyable stay and we will be back again.

Good location for Newmarket race course and the M11.

Good location for Newmarket race course and the M11. the 24/7 bar and kitchen was a pleasant surprise as we didnt get in until 11.30pm from the concert. Breakfast was good but not as good as other IHG hotels I have stayed in. Less choice and the coffee machine that day was not working.

As a Hotel Manager myself.

As a Hotel Manager myself. There should be no excuse for shortage of Stock. The Menu only had 5 Meals available as they did not have the items in From Ralking to the Morning Staff they were upset that the overnight staff did not do their job. This is all stuff Good management should be able to spot and resolve.The Staff looked Miserable and were not the best for politeness.

We use this hotel each time we have an early flight from Birmingham International Airport. Its cheap and the rooms are functional. Because you pay in advance there is no need to check out, so it's ideal for a 4am departure and close to the terminal.

It's an unexpected hotel at the heart of a casino, gaming, bowling and cinema complex at walking distance from Birmingham Airport. An entertaining way to stay close to train/airport if you need to. Food options are not bad within the mall.
