Berwick is an undiscovered gem! There is loads to see and do, both in the town and beyond, especially on foot. Derek Sharman's guided local history tour is recommended, as is the self-guided Lowry Trail. Plenty of restaurants, pubs and cafes. Honestly can't understand why this place isn't more of a tourist hot-spot!

lovely and characterful with links to L.S. Lowry but one or two pubs and shops closed at this time of year, nice walking round the walls and historical areas and lovely walk along the river. and I can recommend Coulls Fish restaurant the plate of fish and chips was huge.

I do not have a car but in Berwick on Tweed there are trains and plenty of buses for you stay to get you to beautiful coastal villages such as Coldingham and St Abbs. There are a choice of splendid eating places, such as Coulls fish and chip restaurant and the very popular Turkish restaurant in Bridge Street. There is a lovely walk alongside the peaceful riverside , ending in the picturesque castle vale gardens near the famous viaduct with its view of the remains of the stone wall protecting Berwick of old!

berwick is a border town, the most northerly, I don't drive but a car is useful if you have one, but regular train services and if you download the borders buses app on your phone, a good starting point for trips to Kelso, Galashiels and Eyemouth amongst others. I visited the barracks museum and good walking as well as good restaurants in the area as well. Lots of local independent shops and no need to take toilteries as several shops sell at good price

A quiet place with bags of history, some fine buildings not just military. The Military museum is certainly worth a visit as it also contains the town's museum. The battlements are worth the walk around as is heading out to the lighthouse. Some very good pubs. Very friendly place. Easy bus ride down to Holy Island.

when possible, this is my go to hotel in Berwick, located on 1st floor ideal location for town and river/sea front. Staff are always helpful and friendly. Didnt do refreshment. Note there was an issue with the sink bad drainage, which was sorted and though I opted out of room being serviced, it only took a couple of days and there was always enough milk cartons.
Plenty of plug sockets, includng either side of the bed.
every need catered for. certainly one of the better dog friendly hotels. excellent value for money. staff very approachable and accommodating . Rooms a good size and clean, comfy beds ensuring a good nights sleep - cannot fault it. the breakfast was good with a varied selection - evening meals also good.
This was our third stay in Berwick Upon Tweed at Miranda’s. Robin is an outstanding host who goes above and beyond. He welcomes guests and provides an amazing service.
The property is clean, warm, and very close to amenities. A lovely place to visit.
The hotel is on a quiet street within the walls of Berwick. The staff were very friendly and the food is amazing, just what we love. Even the weather was on our side, it was a lovely few days.
