Location close to supermarket, and a short drive to Game of Thrones Tour. Lovely Queen Anne style furniture in bedrooms; lots of hanging space in the wardrobe; bed and chairs were comfy. Removeble coathangers (not the ones that can only hang in the wardrobe on those silly silver hooks) so when I did some washing, I could hang the washing near the open window to dry overnight. A kettle in the room with t/c/s & milk. That may sound petty, but some hotels I have recently been staying at, had NO KETTLE etc.

We had the most amazing stay at Tanvally Stud. Sarah was a wonderful host. She even arranged for a birthday cake for us. The accomodation was wonderful, I loved the attention to detail and traditional touches. Sarah even left some snacks for us on our arrival, the breakfast the following morning was fabulous, suych a selection of hot and cold food. Nothing was too much trouble. We will defnitely rebook again when traveling to the North. Thank you for such a memorable stay

An absolute gem of a place. The house is beautiful, the garden a gorgeous oasis and the breakfast was as good as any 5 star hotel. We had the most amazing cheeseboard sitting in the garden one evening after a lovely hour spent in the hot tub. If you want to feel pampered and looked after by wonderful hosts, Blackwell House will not disappoint.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful little home away from home. From Julie's extremely warm welcome to all the little extras provided for our stay the cosy beehive was definitely our best stay away yet. We had a lovely little welcome basket full of treats that we thoroughly enjoyed and some little keepsakes that are a fantastic reminder of our short stay away. We would highly recommend staying here for anyone in the area or travelling through and if we are lucky enough we will 100% be back in the future.

The Belmont House Hotel is a charming boutique stay with real character. Set in a beautiful old house, the hotel feels wonderfully authentic, and the rooms are truly lovely—thoughtfully finished while retaining their historic charm. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly, making the stay even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quaint and welcoming place to stay.

A beautiful town, possibly the cleanest town I have ever...

A beautiful town, possibly the cleanest town I have ever visited! Lots of lovely furniture shops in the town to stroll around, lovely cafes (and hairdressers!). We went to Harrys Bar to watch a Rugby game and from the minute we walked in the door we got a lovely welcome by the staff. We were seated in the restaurant at the back of the bar and had absolutely gorgeous food and then moved to the bar for the game and some live music later! Every person we met was warm and welcoming and we strolled back to our hotel full and happy! Will definitely visit again!

Turley’s Bar was outstanding for quality of food and friendliness of staff View 37 is a fabulous B&B. Location, hosts, welcome and breakfast were first class. Top tip for travel - do not rely on sat nav, double check with Google maps!

There is a number of great places to eat in Banbridge.

There is a number of great places to eat in Banbridge. My 3 favorites are Safari Grill, Downshire Hotel and Blend and Batch. There is a big outlet shopping mall and plenty of other big named brand shops both in the town and up at the mall.

The Bannside Riverside Walk and Solitude Park are not to be...

The Bannside Riverside Walk and Solitude Park are not to be missed if in the area. My ancestors lived and worked in the area and I was able readily access the relevant historic churches, graveyards etc with no time constraints. Beautiful town and surrounding areas that make you realise it was other things that meant the people left. The beauty of this peaceful place belies the social history.

Found this very comfortable and friendly hotel whilst on a business trip visiting customers in the area. Very clean and modern rooms and strong wifi too (essential when you're away with work). Great location and will stay again on my next visit to the area.
