We spent wonderful days in the stylishly furnished accommodation. Everything was super clean. The hot tub was prepared for us so that we could use it immediately. A bottle of Prosecco and breakfast ingredients were available. Thank you very much for allowing us to be guests.

We recently stayed at this property and had a wonderful experience. The cabin was clean, modern, and beautifully designed. We toured Ireland for two weeks, resting every other night in a different B+Bs. StayLagom was by far the best accommodation we stayed in. Although “Lagom” means something like “just right” in swedish as we found out, we felt like getting more than we paid for. The communication with the host was lagom - not intrusive nor repellent (as we experienced before). After we let ourselves in via electronic key lock we received a massage later that night asking if we settled in fine - just lagom for us. The size of the bed and its mattress was more than lagom. This was unfortunate, because we overslept and could not take advantage of the large kitchen area provided to the extent we would have liked due to the checkout time. The kitchen area provided (among others) fresh bred that actually tasted good - free use. The manor house was apparently freshly renovated. This was obviously done by someone with knowledge in the field of architecture, interior design and landscaping. Too bad we could only stay for a night.

Perfect location and we were able to visit the Causeway in the evening and morning before the crowds of tourists. The hotel maintains the 1800s feel and the staff were super friendly and helpful.

There a couple of good pubs in Ballintoy.

There a couple of good pubs in Ballintoy. Ballintoy harbour is wonderful and its nice to walk along to Elephants Rock passed the unusual rock formation. From the harbour, there is a great view of Sheep Island and if the tide is low, one has great access to White Park Bay Beach and to Port Braden. There is plenty of hostels, guest houses, airbnb to stay in.

we were there for the nw200,this was our first time visit to do it.It was a great learning experience. The area is of great natural beauty which if your touring is tops, unfortunately it was not ours.We had to get to Portrush before road closure at 9.00am to get to viewing position. We ate down in Ballycastle, good places to eat and plenty of guinness.

The harbour is stunning. One of a kind. I've dreamt about swimming there and finally did. Totally worth an overnight stay. Lots of others arriving to swim as well. Toilets on site as well and a lovely cafe although wasn't open today.

We were staying at the Castle B&B for one night with early start for the Giants Causeway. We walked down to the harbour for a beautiful sunset and great photo opportunities. There were some interesting birds to photograph and the setting sun made the sea look like molten copper. It was a perfect evening.

Highly recommended for anyone who loves ocean and island views and wonderful sunsets. Spotless and comfortable accommodation. Good wifi. Only downside for orange mobile phone users is no signal in house or Main Street. Top tip is that you can get signal in the churchyard of the beautiful white church or anywhere below that to the wonderful harbour.

Our accommodation, The Castle B&B, is situated in an ideal location for anyone wishing to enjoy the walks, the breathtaking scenery and the lovely harbour. Donagh McShane, who runs the B&B, is a very friendly and witty guy and we enjoyed a good laugh with him……and he even gifted us a bag of his home grown potatoes (which were delicious) as we headed for home. Whitepark Bay is easily accessed from the harbour although the little village of Ballintoy has little to offer in the way of amenities.
