The hotel is several buildings alongside a lake – there are several lakes in the area – outside of Cirencester. You'll need a car to get here but once here it´s a tranquil experience but, perhaps, not during weekends when lots of people go to the countryside in order to eat, drink and sleep. It is a rather large complex with many buildings but it comes across as small because of it´s layout. Breakfast was excellent with options that can satisfy everybody. A full English breakfast and you don´t need to eat again until late afternoon.

Having clean room and facilities is top priority for me and this was spotless. Also, this was first room from many we stayed over the years that had TV and programs working without a fault and we were able to continue with our favourite show on Netflix in the evening. Spacious room with comfy bed, bathroom had everything we need, it was nice and quiet, food was delicious and staff was lovely.

The owners of the Hotel made our stay absolutely special and we felt really welcome. The breakfast was yummy and our toddler was super happy about the lovely attention and the Friendly dog.

Cottage was lovely and great location.

Cottage was lovely and great location. Pet friendly, we took our dog. Many Lakes that have a wide range of water sports. Didn’t try any on this occasion. Although with our friends we did nearby paintballing. Lots of nice eating places nearby and the cottage has a list of recommendations. We ate a short drive away at The Crown Hotel, lovely food and wine. Also had nice coffee and cake at the nearby Jenny’s kitchen.
