One of the best hotel spas we've been to in England! The place is really well maintained, has all the charms of yesteryears but the conveniences of today. I especially enjoyed the pool, wish I could've swam more! The food was also really lovely, haven't seen a delicious breakfast spread like that in ages.

I arrived in a rather stressed-out state. My wallet was lost/stolen with my Visa and I had no money at all. Not a single penny! I was welcomed with a sandwich for lunch and a pizza in the evening, as of course I could buy no food until money was sent to me. I sat in the garden in the afternoon and well into the evening and just unwound and listened to the birdsong. I could not have found a better place. If I return one day to England I shall stay there again for sure. A very pleasant experience and very much appreciated.

The hostess prepared and presented the flat to perfection. She thought of everything and it was probably the best night's sleep I had in a long time bed was so comfortable. The flat was small and compact but delightful, spotless clean and well-furnished. In a great location and great value for money. Parking was available nearby in two locations and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended I guarantee this offer is hard to beat if you want to be situated in the heart of a beautiful place Arundel. The hostess was thoughtful and caring, and readily helpful, a pleasure to communicate with. I would not hesitate in booking to stay here again. Perfect for two people.

No8 is situated in a lovely quiet village on a recent build unique small estate. There was no through traffic. You can park right next to the house on the driveway. Once inside, the house is spotlessly clean and attractively decorated throughout. The facilities in the guest room are exceptional. Very comfortable bed. A full size walk in shower. The entire house is warm and comfortable. The owners , Mike and Jackie are exceedingly friendly and welcoming to the point while chatting over an unexpected initial cuppa, we felt we had known them for years. We would highly recommend this property for a stay near to Arundel.

A lovely town with nice walking.

A lovely town with nice walking. Excellent selection of cafés and restaurants. The imposing-looking castle was unfortunately closed due to our visit being in the off-season, but the cathedral (and church) opposite were nice.

A very pretty country town dominated by a magnificent castle and beautiful old buildings; a museum, the WWT Wetlands Centre; a lake; independent shops; lots of antique shops to suit every pocket which we thoroughly enjoyed mooching around; a huge selection of cafes and restaurants (We had a birthday supper at The Parsons Table - delicious!) and endless possibilities for walks along the river and in the surrounding countryside (South Downs).

The town itself has an abundance of pubs/restaurants all very welcoming and compared to London huge meals at a great price and all very nice - not one that we would not return to. We went there for walking and being outside - so many walks - will return

It is such an interesting town and quite hilly, i walked in...

It is such an interesting town and quite hilly, i walked in and visited the cathedral and the castle both were amazing. The castle was huge but was expensive to visit but it does not disappoint. The gardens are also amazing and lovely to see. I would certainly recommend this to anyone who is down that way to visit.

A very good place for a short stay, pleasant to walk round with a good selection of eating establishments. Historic buildings and churches were good to visit and the castle on the hill ruling overall.

Arundel is beautiful with plenty of cafes, tea rooms, pubs,...

Arundel is beautiful with plenty of cafes, tea rooms, pubs, and restaurants. The art trail happened to be on whilst we were there, and although not our thing, it appeared to be very good. There was an open-air tribute act to ABBA too at night which appeared to be very well organised with a really fantastic atmosphere. The castle is the jewel in the crown and worth every penny to visit.

Staff are lovely, polite, professional, and new staff employed, lovely new manager, who will, and is making a positive impact on the hotel. Happy staff, happy customers! Hotel in the centre of Arundel, lovely old hotel full of character. Stayed a few times now, and this is the first time I have seen the lovely secret garden (previous visits mainly in the winter months) New menu with the emphasis on fresh fish.

Great stay if you want a traditional pub experience. Very nice room, comfortable bed. The town of Arundel is full of character and history, the Swan Hotel is an excellent choice, good breakfast and dinner was very nice as well.

A lovely pub/hotel. Clean, comfortable bedroom. Delicious breakfast. A perfect location, for us, as we were guests at a party there on the Saturday evening. We enjoyed exploring Arundel over the long weekend.
