The location is really good with incredible views. Breakfast is perfect with beautiful view on the lake. Staff was very warm, welcoming and makes you fill like home)), especially gentlemen at the reception breakfast desk. Parking neither big nor small, we found a spot easily and it’s just in front of the building. The building of the hotel is a bit outdated, but really taken care of! There is an amazing hiking route with stunning views, which starts just 10-15 minutes walk from the hotel. The Cobbler hiking trail.

We had a room with a beautiful view of the lake. The room was comfy and clean and we had our own big bathroom. We have been served a traditional cooked breakfast (you could also choose vegetarian options). We also had a great dinner at the pub that's right next door. Amazing Thankyou for a lovely stay. We decided to stop here whilst we are exploring Scotland on our honeymoon. We got a free upgrade to a room with a view which was absolutely lovely. The bed was uncomfortable nice spacious room. The breakfast was lovely and so much choice. And the staff were all so friendly Especially the lady on reception when we arrived, the lad on the bar on our first night and the girl serving breakfast massive Thankyou to those 3 especially for making our stay so lovely.

I took a fishing rod and on the first night had bbq mackerel...

I took a fishing rod and on the first night had bbq mackerel on the banks of Loch lomand as its very close. The hills are walking distance from the hotel so on the second day we walked up Ben ime. The views are spectacular if you have not been to the west of Scotland you willl be impressed and the location is so close to Glasgow, difficult to believe a large city is so close.

Amazing part of the country with wonderful scenery.

Amazing part of the country with wonderful scenery. Most staff are extremely pleasant and friendly, but not all. Arrochar is a bit of a one horse town, although it's a great base for touring some amazing parts of the country. It's a very relaxing village with a lovely walk along the lochside.

Beautiful quiet location, stunning scenery. The Village Inn was great. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. Restaurant had good menu choices both for dinner and breakfast. We'd booked this for our last night in Scotland before our return flight, would have loved to stay longer.

Weather not great second day but didn’t spoil our break . Took a very scenic drive up the “Rest and Be Thankful “ via Loch Fyne oyster bar and garden centre to Inveraray . Dogs loved the walk through the grounds up to the castle . Lovely places for lunch in the town .The George Hotel a favourite of ours .

Everything was top notch. Staff were very good, nice and helpful. The bedroom was beautiful and the bed very comfy. Food was delicious and reasonably priced for the quality. The surrounding area was beautiful and our room had a loch view. The whole Inn had a lovely welcoming and friendly atmosphere.

The hotel staff were rude and unhelpful and to beat it all...

The hotel staff were rude and unhelpful and to beat it all the cleaning staff stole my bag with all of my liquids including perfumes and lotions and when I told the reception they could not have cared less

Breakfast was fairly good with a choice of foods, the croissants were never fresh though. The evening meal was OK but very institutional catering for coach trips. There was a choice of menu but basic. No coffee offered after meals. Hotel was in lovely setting and clean, however the hotel is tired and in need of a lot of modernisation. The windows were sealed shut so no ventilation in hot bedrooms or stairwells.

The room was cosy, the view of the cobbler and Arrochar alps was amazing across Loch long. The bed was comfortable and clean, and the TV was of a high quality. One of the major things I liked was the quietness of the room, there were guests next door on both nights and I still heard nothing. I was able to get a great rest between hiking days which made such a difference.

Freindly staff, new manager welcoming and helpful, couches in upper corridor to allow you stunning veiws of hills and loch it was picturesque, plus great breakfast in the morning cereal, etc full scottish read reveiws before going,, this one is genuine, i would have no hesitation on returning here. Freindly hotel not the hilton but the hilton is not in beutiful Arrochar.

Good location off the main road,with great views of the mountains across Loch Long. I had a decent sized single room with a great shower. The breakfast was good,with cereals,yoghurts,cooked items from a bain marie,toast,tea and coffee. I had a lovely vegan burger from the bar meals menu too.
