We had to show up a little late and the staff were really easy to work with after hours. They set up a system where we could check-in with a pin and then they checked in on us at breakfast, which was very sweet and kind. The breakfast was perfect. The wonderfully pleasant and upbeat staff member greeted us, prepared toast, coffee, yogurt, and a variety of European meats and fruits. We highly recommend this bed and breakfast! It was also very close to Stonehendge, which was our main destination.

The hostel is a small part of the rare breeds farm which is a sight to behold! You can spend your day with ponies, alpacas, rabbits, guinea pigs, mountain goats, ducks and jersey cows while you treat yourself to their farm made cheese and sip on the wine from the bluestone vineyards. There is a pig racing track to entertain us, but I suppose it's not as dehumanising as it sounds because the pigs are christened with human names. The arrangement looked sustainable to me and if you wish to get a taste of Amesbury, there is no better place to book for your stay. However, you should rent your own car because the stonehenge hostel is quite a distance away from Stonehenge. Another alternative route would be to hitchhike till woodhenge and then trek to stonehenge from the route that runs from woodhenge. I certainly enjoyed the trek with the two friends I made at Stonehenge hostel!

Very very kind lady at the reception and friendly staff at the breakfast. Breakfast was a great deal (10 GBP for a grown-up, children eat for free) and it was tasty. Room was neat and tidy. Location convenient for visiting Stonehenge.

Nice friendly town with lots of pubs and restaurants and independent shops as well as Aldi, Morrisons and a Co Op in the High Street. Car Park in town centre. 5 miles from Stonehenge and 30 minutes to Salisbury.

Great choice of pubs and restaurants and a perfect starting point for a visit to Stonehenge. The well equipped kitchen is great if you would rather eat in, especially with Aldi just around the corner.

Its all about Stonehenge really thats why we went there,...

Its all about Stonehenge really thats why we went there, there's a new visitor centre which is fantastic and shuttle buses take you to the stone circle, you can now get about 5 meters from the stones but you can no longer touch them, Amesbury itself is quite nice with a few good pubs and restaurants, the whole area has a nice clean feel about it.

A charming small town with local amenities.

A charming small town with local amenities. Salisbury about half an hours drive away and they have a market every Saturday. Stonehenge a short distance away and the lesser monument of Woodhenge. Beautiful countryside and very tranquil. The locals very welcoming and warm-hearted

It’s basically a small village which has been massively over developed with housing estates and distribution centres, this resulted in a lot of lorries and heavy traffic running through. Close to Stonehenge but Salisbury would be a much better option for accommodation.

Great location and price

Great location and price Would really help to remind those not familiar with sharing accommodation with others that just because they have had a good sleep doesn’t mean you can make as much noise as possible and disturb others’ sleeping

After hiking all day, Stonehenge Court was just what we needed. Spacious bedroom, comfortable king size bed, quality linens, a good area to sit down and my favorite - a huge bathroom. The hosts have thought of their guest`s every comfort and it was greatly appreciated. The courtyard outside the rooms offered privacy and beauty, with a friendly grandmother cat who had a good chat :). Great location in the town of Amesbury. Thank you.

The English cooked breakfast was excellent; it was served lovely and hot and was large with 7 different items. The decor of the dining room/bar area was really nice, it looked as if it had recently been decorated. The location of the hotel was in the centre of Amesbury which was great, close to local bars and restaurants. There is a large car park at the rear of the hotel so parking was very easy.
