Great location Really clean & still holds some old charm with the fixtures & fittings. The lady on the front desk was so nice and nothing was too much trouble and as an additional bonus they have a gorgeous restaurant just downstairs. Very enjoyable and relaxing stay.

Fantastic location to Stonehenge which is what we used it for but definitely would have like to stay longer. Really comfortable and enjoyed all the facilities. Very little noise from people above and it was a real treat having air con in the bedroom. Oh and a shout out to Kingman's butcher for the best sausages ever.

Nice friendly town with lots of pubs and restaurants and independent shops as well as Aldi, Morrisons and a Co Op in the High Street. Car Park in town centre. 5 miles from Stonehenge and 30 minutes to Salisbury.

Great choice of pubs and restaurants and a perfect starting point for a visit to Stonehenge. The well equipped kitchen is great if you would rather eat in, especially with Aldi just around the corner.

Its all about Stonehenge really thats why we went there,...

Its all about Stonehenge really thats why we went there, there's a new visitor centre which is fantastic and shuttle buses take you to the stone circle, you can now get about 5 meters from the stones but you can no longer touch them, Amesbury itself is quite nice with a few good pubs and restaurants, the whole area has a nice clean feel about it.

A charming small town with local amenities.

A charming small town with local amenities. Salisbury about half an hours drive away and they have a market every Saturday. Stonehenge a short distance away and the lesser monument of Woodhenge. Beautiful countryside and very tranquil. The locals very welcoming and warm-hearted

It’s basically a small village which has been massively over developed with housing estates and distribution centres, this resulted in a lot of lorries and heavy traffic running through. Close to Stonehenge but Salisbury would be a much better option for accommodation.

Great location and price

Great location and price Would really help to remind those not familiar with sharing accommodation with others that just because they have had a good sleep doesn’t mean you can make as much noise as possible and disturb others’ sleeping

I was on a cycle touring in Wiltshire and stayed at Stonehenge Courtyard for one night. There was secure storage for our bikes, which to us, was important. The accommodation was right in the centre of Amesbury, handy for shops, cafes and restaurants. We had an evening meal at a nearby Italian restaurant and breakfast at a local cafe. On hindsight, we should have bought breakfast at the local bakery and eaten it in the courtyard. The rooms were comfortable and clean. It was a very pleasant surprise to have found such a nice place to stay.

The Sunday Roast was wonderful and a huge amount was supplied. It is the best location that is near Stonehenge itself, although Stonehenge can still be a little challenge to get to. They have specific bathroom requirements, so take a note of it when you arrive or prior to arrival.

The hotel was excellent and we will be returning in September. Great bar and garden. Staff were great. Nice room and comfortable bed. Plus the car park was opposite. Amesbury is a great town.
