Not sure where the 5.9 rating is coming from – I honestly can’t agree with it. The staff were absolutely lovely and super helpful. Great, quiet location with a nice pub and kitchen, plus a playground right next to the property. Dog friendly too! Rooms were clean and spacious, and it’s all very budget-friendly. Maybe it’s under new management, don’t know. Either way, the place is brilliant now.

Wonderfully welcoming, friendly and helpful hosts. Accommodation was extremely comfortable with a homely feel and great attention to detail. Breakfast was exceptionally good, with home made preserves, compotes, granola and scrambled eggs. Well situated for many places of interest. A couple of steep sets of stairs may possibly be tricky for anyone with mobility issues and the private bathroom was situated just across the landing. Highly recommend.

Lovely contrast between old pub and modern separate accommodation. Pretty lawn area and functions area. Large carpark. Exceptional staff and service. Excellent food and beverages. The best pub we have stayed in during our UK visit. Many thanks for welcoming us!
