A hidden gem just 2 minute gentle stroll from a lovely village. Lovely welcome and a super friendly feel. Really thoughtfully renovated leaving the old world charm intact but with modern convenience. We were treated to the piper on the bridgas we headed out for dinnin the village. We had a gorgeous breakfast looking out over the lawn and the deer walking through the garden was the icing on the cake.

Home to home setting with much more comfortable bed! 😉 We loved the breakfast! Bit of an everything.. The location is perfect, the beach is just down the road, one of the evening just popped down to watch the sunset. The host Jen and Simon were fantastic! Very friendly. The place is clean, the bathroom was huge with fantastic decoration. When I booked The Clubhouse for some reason I thought there were a double and 2 single beds in the suit, but when we got there there was 2 double beds.. We are a family of 4, and our 2 kids got used to sleep in separate beds.. When I asked for an extra matress my hosts were amazing and they gave us an extra matress for no extra charge!! That way all nights were great. 2 of my children have been asking me when are we going to return… I am sure we will.

Bordering Nairn Golf Course and just 30 minutes’ drive from Inverness, Muthu Newton Hotel is set in 21 acres of mature parkland and gardens.

Picturesque environment, oldschool feeling, close to the sea and to Inverness. Breakfast is all right ( but we got better home made cook in a 3* Inn). You can see 3 scottish highlander cows for free. Beds are comfy. Do stay in the castle, the feeling is a lot better then stay in the courtyard ( wich is basicly a converted stable next to the hotel)

Overlooking the Moray Firth, with pretty gardens leading down to the seashore, this hotel and leisure club are set within beautiful surroundings.

Fantastic place. we stayed with our 2y old, large playground around the corner was definitely an asset. great food in the restaurant and friendly staff. exceptional breakfast! Grantown was a good base to explore the area (much nicer than Aviemore)
