Loved the cosy homely cabin vibe. Very well equipped kitchen. Air conditioning with hot or cold air. Coffee machine. Rural, remote setting in nature. Sun deck with seating outside. Friendly accommodating help host. Beautiful lake and woods to walk around opposite. Our son loved the peacock, chickens and sheep onsite Option for fabulous breakfast tray. Proximity to Vivy for excellent boulangerie and Saumur for more restaurants and amenities.

Such a fabulous stay. The tipi was excellent, perfect for 2 adults and 2 children. We loved how peaceful it was. The kids enjoyed all the animals running around and feeding the chickens every morning. The breakfast was lovely as was the food van. Kids said they were the best pizzas they have had! High praise.

Claire has made this project her passion... restoring a chateau for a 3-room deluxe experience in the countryside, gorgeous grounds and pool, with a view of Samur Chateau from the pool and the bedroom, in the distance. Samur itself is a lovely little French town on the Loire, vibrant with good shopping, and wonderful Chateau and wine. Claire's chateau is a wonder of modern decoration and design. Everything is like from an architect's book and features ultra high-end furnishings, fixtures and decoration. Absolutely loved it as you will. Breakfast was an art form:) and communication with Claire easy and friendly.

Friendly staff. Very good quality room with view of river overlooking the Loire. Good location. Close to one of the best restaurants in Saumur, Le Pot de Lapin. Lovely open space garden at back. Very welcoming to dogs, would not have used this hotel if not.
