The extremely peaceful vibes of the place, with its history and easy access makes this château an ideal option for people who want to visit the region and nearby Baie de Somme in particular. A good stop too for people travelling between Britain and Paris. The host is super-friendly and the breakfast (included) was fantastic! By staying at Béhen, you also help the owner with costs of maintaining a historic building.

Vaux-Marquenneville is a very small town, barely more than two streets and ten houses. But there are many small picture-pretty towns within a stone's throw distance, and Oisemont is close-by with all the basic necessities. Within 15 minutes drive or so is Abbeville, if you need something bigger. This is real countryside, where you can escape from the rat race. The many local specialities in food and drink also make a compelling case for a visit.
