The hosts were fantastic. They were very welcoming, friendly, and as a french learner, even helped me improve my french! It felt like staying with family. The breakfast was substantial, and the variety and quality of the dinner options (+ desserts) were both very good. Location is nice and quiet, and just a short drive or shuttle bus from the ski lifts. Nice view from balcony. Value was great overall. Merci beaucoup Chantal et Gerard!

Breakfast was great, amazing croissants and yogurts. Staff was super kind they even offered me a ride to the station, even though it was super walking distance. Nice views, easy parking, just be aware that is a side street so if its really snowing you might need chains / winter tires.

This is a lovely cosy (and by that I don't mean small I really do mean cosy) apartment. It is spacious and comfortable with a great dining area and fully equipped kitchen. We only stayed one night as we were on a road trip but it had everything we needed/expected. We didn't come to ski but it would be a great location for that I'm sure, we could see the ski lifts from the balcony. Bonus to be able to sit on the small balcony with a coffee in the morning taking in the mountain landscape and morning sun.

We arrived with no made up beds, we had two children with us. There were no pillow cases on the pillows and we couldn’t find any bedding, we had to sleep on the mattress with no bedding. There were no towels to use for a shower. There was a live electric cable on the bedroom floor and the owner made it clear to remove shoes before entering, very good job we never did this.

A home away from home that is how i felt in that hotel. The staff is super kind and helpful, the structure warm and welcoming and the food in the restaurant just excellent. They even have a free garage for bike and motorbike. That hotel is the best one in all the route des Grand Alpe

Ski from the door (you exit from other side of the building immediately on the ski slope), everything necessary is in the flat. Ski infrastructure of Vars is good - many various slopes. Slightly open windows at night allowed to enjoy fresh air. It was quite in the hotel.

I loved this hotel! The staff were excellent, we met the owner who has put a lot of effort into making the hotel what it is. The food in the restaurant was superb. The room was very clean and very quiet; I had a very good sleep!
