The facilities allow you to make your own meals, supplemented by an excellent breakfast. The bonus is home grown and made treats including jams and apple juices. We have enjoyed every minute of our stay here. Nice and peaceful area, great location close to the Utah beach, perfect breakfast and comfortable bed in nice bedroom with design bathroom. Staff is really helpful and friendly. The whole concept focusing on bio farming is great, you can also buy products from their home utah beef. Despite the fact we didnt use it - spa looks also amazing and we saw electric charges for the cars, that somebody may find very useful.

Unexpected. And Wonderful. This is a very unique place to stay. The hotel itself is in a building from the 1500’s and is part of an estate that the owner has been meticulously refurbishing. He and his wife are both very interesting people. They also have a wonderful Burnese Mountain dog. The building/hotel owner is an admitted enthusiast of WWII history. During war the building served as the headquarters for a German general and, after D-Day, for General James Lawton Collins. Part of the building now houses a very unique military museum (https://www.tripadvisor.ie/Attraction_Review-g608795-d25576850-Reviews-D_DAY_Collins_Museum-Sainte_Mere_Eglise_Manche_Basse_Normandie_Normandy.html). The bedrooms have all been recently decorated and are beautiful. Each room is named after a WWII general (Eisenhower, Bradley, Collins, etc.) Breakfast was terrific.

The house is very nicely restored with modern facilities, while keeping an old touch. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. The owner was also very friendly and check-in and -out was super easy. It is at the heart of Sainte-Mère-Église with lots of parking spaces around. It's location makes it ideal to visit the D-day landing beaches and museums in the town and the region.
