That stay was an amazing surprise. Located the center of Saint-Omer with a lot of restaurants and bars in walking distance. Also the parking was in a good walking distance. A small but very cosy room. I felt very much at home. The breakfast was one of the best I ever had on all my travels. The hosts where very attentive and friendly.

Was on a long distance cycle trip and this place was perfect for a stopover. Central location with lots of dinner options even arriving late. Still able to check in fairly late. Nice shower and comfortable room. Very accommodating with my bike. Friendly welcome and filling breakfast.

The breakfast was one of the best we’ve had! So much choice. Excellent scrambled egg, pancakes, choice of breads and croissants, fruit, cereal, etc etc. It was fantastic. The hotel is so stylish. The interior design is worthy of a much more expensive hotel. Beautiful colour scheme which runs through bedrooms and public spaces. We’d definitely stay again.

It was a lovely place to stay, just 40 mins from Calais, ideal for a stop over before getting the ferry, or as a stop over before continuing our journey. Rooms were a good size, beds comfy and good shower. Restaurant on site did lovely food, breakfast had hot and cold options, bar in hotel, staff friendly.

Use of a pool just made our stay so relaxing. Walk in shower was good for me as I have mobility issues. Room in the Pavilion was a great size. Try the restaurant for dinner, it's excellent and not too expensive. Hotel grounds are so peaceful and makes it a lovely place to have a walk. There is a tennis court which I saw guests using. Hotel bar and lounge is a nice area to have a drink and relax. The whole hotel gives an air of relaxation. Breakfast is served in the restaurant area. They serve the most delicious scrambled eggs , bacon and sausage. Other continental offerings are available. It's plentiful.

Tilques is a small village - it is in the outskirts of St Omer and very well placed for a trip to or from Calais. There are a very few shops, but it's only a few minutes drive into Saint Omer, which is a large town with supermarkets, restaurants, etc. It is an ideal place for walking or cycling through country lanes.

Excellent staff, very comfortable and well kept hotel. My only comment is I would like more vegetarian options in the restaurant, there was only 1 option (which was excellent) but I’d rather not eat the same thing twice in a row. I expect if I’d have asked they would have prepared something different as everyone was super helpful, but I think with more people now eating less meat it should be standard on the menu to have a few choices.

A beautiful location and building let down by poor staff...

A beautiful location and building let down by poor staff manning and not being able to eat in the restaurant, despite calling early that day. We booked the hotel on route home because my wife had broken her foot and we wanted somewhere to stay where we could rest and eat and not have to travel out. The staff were superb but just over run with guests.

Poor quality accomodation, very shabby, lack of staff and the food offering in the restaurant was unacceptable as the menu consisted of bought in take a way meals from a local factory served in the original packaging

Stayed here at the start of this holiday. This time we stayed 2 nights in the Pavilion. Room was large, with a walk in shower. Room had a private outdoor seating area. We had dinner in the restaurant. This was excellent but I suggest you book in advance as it is very popular. Breakfast was excellent, great scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage as well as the usual continental offerings. Good coffee. Pool was open and was a lovely place to relax. Hotel bar/lounge was very nice and relaxing. Staff were very professional and helpful.

It’s in a great location for Tilques and the surrounding towns. The neighbours to the property met us but apologies for our not good French! - they are not the owners but showed us round etc. The spa pool is lovely, and our son did enjoy it! - but we had no towels. There is a sauna but we weren’t interested in using it.

It's a beautiful hotel in large grounds with a fantastic in door swimming pool. Breakfast was just right. The staff are very helpful. Perfect for a stop over from Calais. We will come again.
