Location is fantastic for walking the Battlefields of WW1. I'm not brilliant at doing reviews, but this 'Gite' deserves a good try from me. The 'Gite' is like home from home, we couldn't fault it, it was superb, good WIFI, lovely kitchen with a brilliant Induction hob, (Going to have to get one in my house) fridge freezer, dish washer, washing machine, microwave, oven, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, etc etc, it's got everything you would need and it's all like new. The Dining area was also great, a nice big table, a perfect area to sit and have a nice bottle of red with a lovely home cooked meal in the evening. Lounge area, a nice comfy sofa, Tv, very comfortable. The 2 Bedrooms, (one ensuite) both again were spotless, lovely beds, a cracking bathroom upstairs next to bedroom 2, with a lovely large walk in shower, brilliant after a long walk. The photos on Booking.com, are accurate unlike some I could mention, what you see on here is what you get at Les Galets when you arrive, no sudden shocks, it's a superb 'Gite' and I for one will be back. The owners Cyril and Cathy are lovely folk, both speak French and English, they have done a superb job of renovation at the property, that good, I didn't want to leave! Can't really say any more than this, 100% brilliant! Thanks Cyril and Cathy.

We are a family of 5 with 3 children aged between 5 and 16 who stayed at this property to break up our journey to the UK and on our return a couple of weeks later. . We were all very impressed with the property. It was well equipped and clean with comfortable beds. There are some fantastic family photos on display that have all been taken at the property. This was a great conversation starter, with us all wondering about the family and the history of the property. We would not hesitate to book to stay here again if we were ever in the area.
