The property was beautiful and they have renovated it to a high standard. The view from the pool area was lovely over the countryside with lovely sunsets. The room is part of the family house but with its own entrance. It’s a spacious room, comfy bed and large double shower. We really enjoyed staying here. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming. They cooked dinner for us one evening and everything was fresh and homemade from their produce or local. Valerie also catered for my no meat/dairy dietary requirements easily for dinner and breakfast. we really enjoyed the evening meal with the sunset. Valerie also took us to feed her chickens and stroke the friendly ones! We had the eggs for breakfast.

Wow what a delight. I was traveling all day and was so happy to have chosen this hotel. I checked-in late at night and it was raining so hard so I was delighted that they had dinner available. It was an idea to serve little pot with Hachi Parmentier or cottage pie with Duck. It was so good I almost ordered the 2nd choice just to try it. The room was amazing. It was a big studio with a patio. Would be amazing in the summer. They lovely English receptionist looked after me so well. I will be back!

Location: Perfect location right in the center of the town, easy walking distance to sites and restaurants. Although it was in a pedestrian area, our van was able to park just across to bring down our luggage. Breakfast: Excellent breakfast! The buffet selection was well-curated and of high quality. Room: Beautifully-designed rooms and thoughtful amenities. Comfortable beds and pillows. Everything was spotlessly clean, too. Staff and service: For us, the staff is the most valuable asset of the Manoir. Service was very personal. Everyone went the extra mile to make us feel comfortable and welcome. We were spoiled. :) From helping us with our many, heavy luggage, attending to our requests during breakfast, providing amazing assistance during a room service -- everything was done with a smile. Thank you so much to David and the rest of the team for making our stay memorable.

Quiet rooms. Swimming pool terrace adjacent. Lovely quiet garden setting. Only 5 mins drive to centre of Sarlat for wide choice of restaurants at reasonable prices. Breakfast was extra but set us up for the day.

Everything! The building is very beautiful and romantic. In low season we could easily find a free park spot in front of the hotel (please note free parking is only available in winter up to - I guess - April 1st? I guess parking in high season can be quite challenging in the village centre). Hotel is situation at a great central location. Lovely bar that stayed open until we were done. Bar does have food menu, with easy dishes. Restaurant is there too, but we didn’t tried it. (Btw the pub had non-alcoholic beers which so far appears to be quite scare in most France restaurants, so that was nice). Also the swimming pool / spa area was quiet and the pool jacuzzi area is basically open the entire day from 8am to 9pm. Length is I guess 12m pool. It’s a great pool for a tiny exercise after being in the car the entire day. Spa area has different hours, but we didn’t try it.

Perfectly located in Sarlat, we loved our stay! The manager was incredibly helpful with restaurant suggestions and other tips (including where to buy foie gras) for the town. The shower in our room was fantastic and so was the bedroom itself. The hotel is tastefully decorated and, whilst it doesnt have its own car park, one can stop for 30mins in front to unload and the free car park is less than 10mins walk. I was surprised about the number of floors in the hotel as it definitely feels smaller than it probably is - certainly a boutique hotel to return to!
