It is a quiet place and safe place.

It is a quiet place and safe place. It is also a clean place. Most amenities are available. One could walk to most of them. There are a variety of food outlets. There are many bakeries too. The bread is heavenly.

It's a bit out of the way compared to Paris.

It's a bit out of the way compared to Paris. There isn't much to see. The two windmills with their views of Paris are worth a visit. Paris is accessible by train, about a half-hour journey. However, the ticket system was difficult to understand, even for the locals who were with us. Everything you need for self-catering is available (small shops and supermarkets).

I made a reservation on the website for a double bed with a dining area, but I only received a small child's bed. I think it's very expensive for a small bed; what you reserve on the website doesn't match what you get when you arrive.
