Although Fumel is not the most attractive of towns in this area due to the demise of the main employer here, the hotel location is good for the town and for touring this beautiful area. It is comfortable, welcoming, a home from home. The food is very good, affordable. The terrace and swimming pool are lovely, especially after a day travelling for a cooling dip and cold drink. But the best thing about this place is the staff. Anne-Marie is very sweet and smiley, Nikki welcomed us warmly and helped with our luggage-but the star is Roland. So very very helpful to us sorting out taxis, further hotels and such a lovely, lovely man to talk to - in English. Cannot praise him enough.

This is a small but very well laid out, self-contained apartment, with everything you need (including fridge, stove top, oven, coffee maker, and coffee capsules). The owner lives in the same apartment building, so I got a personal welcome, and introduction to the unit. Very clean, very comfortable, everything works. A very enjoyable stay!

A simple, basic hotel which was very clean. Room and bathroom were a decent size. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was basic French style and they kindly catered for my gluten free dietary requirements.

Beutiful nature, splendid house with cosy rooms, the place perfectly in the nature. The owners are very nice, the food is very tasty and the rooms and whole the house is perfectly clean. It was very lovely time there.

We met a young couple who started this gite half year ago. The place was amazing. Old style, charming, well renovated. Everything you need was present and upon request we also has access to a bbq who was installed on the patio from where you have an overwelming look over the property, fields and forest as far as you can see. There are no civilisation noises, only birds, animals and the wind. Swimming pool is under construction but that did not matter much to us. The place is simply amazing, outside and inside where at night, a high performance wood stove produced dancing flames and instant heat. We highly recommend to families with children, friends or romantic hangouts. This place never gets dull. Special thanks to Charlotte and Aron for their warm welcome and for making these days unforgetable. We'll be back for more!

Lovely spacious and airy apartment. Much bigger than the photos suggest. Liked the local hazelnuts provided by the host! Very clean and well equipped kitchen. Very easy parking. Less than five minutes walk from village centre.
